Just when I joke very seriously and many of you will grasp the underlying message which is this: who hopes to achieve anything, small or large, does some jokes, to do what must be the strength of the human and Christian freedom from any hidden or ill-concealed ambition. For ecclesiastical ambition is particularly nefarious, because if the devil can take in it, of us may be able to do whatever he wants. Long and painful it would be a list resulting from my experiences of priestly life sometimes painful. I met bishops who serve and love rather than the particular Churches entrusted to them dispelled his episcopate to try to promote themselves to bigger and prestigious venue, always available for political, journalists or members of the Roman Curia as ravvoltolati little women in the washroom in the worst chatter, unfriendly and not dedicated to the care of their clergy and their faithful; ready to marginalize even cruel ways all those who honestly and devout than put them in front of their burdensome pastoral responsibility, but surrounded in return for greasy and adoring secretaries or collaborators of the bishop himself strictly mediocre, often promoted in turn to the episcopal dignity. I met young priests who saw already apostolic nuncios in Washington, but thank God, finally slipped on a banana peel, victims of their own craftiness whole alleged. Too many others I have seen accompanied servile and pimps to cordate of curial to which a priest for ever better not lengthen the hand even with the fishing rod; and are the same ones who just yesterday, under the pontificate of Benedict XVI Venerable, were all a triumph of bobbins, damaschi e poses ieratiche, always ready to sigh in good Latin liturgical. In this varied sample of the worst ever are surely those who have failed in their climb and finished later dismissed from the Roman Curia or the diplomatic service, once sent trumpet&frustrated in their dioceses of origin have turned to their bishops and their brethren of unmanageable concentrated of the worst poisons.

Repeatedly, speaking privately with my student and collaborator and several others my children, I said with sad irony that I could write in advance as of now the list of all the worst elements known during my training for the priesthood, and below in my priestly life, that one by one all become bishops, the bishops will become more mediocre Cardinals, Cardinals will become more mediocre, maybe … because they are programmed to do so since the early months of the seminar and many of them manage to achieve what you have set. The Editor of 'Patmos Island is pleased to announce that the Rev. Stefano Levi Ariel Gualdo was appointed by the Supreme Pontiff Secretary of the Commission Ecclesia Dei [see WHO]. It happens in this assignment to S.It is. Rev.ma Mons. Guido Pozzo, Titular Archbishop of Bagnoregio.
