Time is wasted in washing the donkey's head, water and soap. The Catholic Action of Castel di Lucio and Tusa cries out in scandal like a vilified virgin not realizing that she has fallen into sin against the Holy Spirit

WASHING THE DONKEY'S HEAD WASTE TIME, WATER AND SOAP. THE CATHOLIC ACTION OF CASTEL DI LUCIO AND TUSA SCREAMS AT THE SCANDAL LIKE A VIRGIN VILIPESA NOT NOTING THAT HE HAS FALLEN IN SIN AGAINST THE HOLY SPIRIT.

.

Too bad that these offspring of Catholic Action have exchanged the Church for a Hippy Commune and Jesus Christ for a forerunner of Guccini and Fedez. Indeed, their defense of the gay bill immediately found a solid front of resistance, not only by those Catholics who are still believers and faithful but above all by some intellectuals far from the Church.

Now the fuss it has gone far beyond the borders of beautiful and sunny Sicily. In the land of the leopards, winds of protest have been blowing for a few days and have shattered the city Diocese of Patti. The Church and its Magisterium are put into constant discussion, indeed considered homophobic and discriminating, from a group of jump ditches of Catholic Action, so much so that H.E. Mons. Guglielmo Giombanco and his presbytery seem condemned to the impossibility of taming these new ones Sicilian Vespers.

.

Our episcopate, which unfortunately appears increasingly weakened, maybe you don't realize that by now, of the terribly destructive forces that have long since entered the walls like soldiers hidden inside the belly of the Trojan horse, they are attacking us directly from within. And in the internal attacks we are undergoing, those in the LGBT lobby are the most aggressive and dangerous. A theme, that of the gay lobby inside the Church, of which our Father Ariel already spoke ten years ago with the analysis that later revealed the prophecies, all of them contained in his book And Satan became triune, first published in February 2011 and today distributed by ours Editions The island of Patmos.

.

But let's go in order: the sections of Catholic Action of Castel di Lucio and Tusa in recent days have wanted to be blatantly in solidarity with the ZAN Ddl which, according to them, would constitute the fifth essence of the evangelical spirit e of love Catholic.

.

Too bad that these offspring of Catholic Action have exchanged the Church for a Hippy Commune and Jesus Christ for a forerunner of Guccini and Fedez. Indeed, their defense of the gay bill immediately found a solid front of resistance, not only by those Catholics who are still believers and faithful but above all by some intellectuals far from the Church as was the case with the site Beyond the Line who had words of fire towards the position taken by these guys.

.

We Fathers de The Island of Patmos, between the serious and the facetious, with two articles [see WHO e WHO] we have presented the question by pointing out its errors, increasingly convinced that the greatest work of mercy consists in admonishing sinners and those who willfully and knowingly persist in error. Like this, the Presidency of Catholic Action of the Diocese of Patti issued on Saturday 24 April a press release distancing himself from his members and reaffirming loyalty to the Pontiff, to the Congregation for the Doctrine of the Faith and to the Magisterium on matters of morals and customs. Well, those Garibaldini boys responded on their official Facebook page by deleting the offending post as it was for the case of Tusa, while Castel di Lucio preferred to delete the entire page of the local section of Catholic Action. Perhaps they understood the mistake they made? Not at all, on the contrary, they joined together, answering the rhymes. With bullying and haughty arrogance they reaffirmed their conscious and voluntary adherence to the Zan Bill by manifesting de facto their inability to make communion with the Catholic Church and with the Gospel, now seen as obstacles to tolerance and far more miserable and useless than a parliamentary bill [texts of press releases, WHO].

.

What to say? We are in full sin against the Holy Spirit. Why deny and reject the truths of faith, who have certainly had the opportunity to learn in the parish and in Catholic Action and to fight them by considering them erroneous means closing one's eyes to the works that the Holy Spirit accomplishes through the action of the Church. Typical hardening of Pharisaic malice that accommodating the Law to human desires, considers the work of Christ as the work of Beelzebul.

.

It is useful to report an authoritative commentary on the Jerusalem Bible [ed. 1998] to the passage concerning the sin against the Holy Spirit [Mt 12,31-32] that explains:

.

"Man is excusable if he deceives himself about the divine dignity of Jesus, veiled by the humble appearances of the Son of man, but he is not if he closes his eyes and heart to the evident works of the Spirit. Denying them, he rejects the supreme proposal that God makes to him and puts himself out of salvation ".

.

Unnecessary, annoying and out of place are the recriminations and the regret for having suffered attacks, anathemas and insults. Nobody insulted anyone, they just told you that you don't know Christ, the Church and the Gospel and this only for your good and to make you grow with a minimum of humility. You have been told that using the Catholic Action mask as a pedestal to engage in LGBT activism is not evangelizing since you have been disavowed by your own diocesan presidency. They told you no because this means loving each other and teaching you to recognize the error, that recognition which then leads us to say before the confessor: «[…] I propose with your holy help never to be offended again and to flee the next occasions of sin. Lord mercy, forgive me".

.

Boys, this means to be Christian adults with attributes, something you should know from the day of your confirmation. Ma, Alas, you have preferred to the Holy Spirit demonstrating the guilt of the world regarding sin, righteousness and judgment [cf. GV 16,8], the Spirit of the world that levels everything, normalizes and justifies. What else can be said? Too much has already been said. I hope and pray for your sincere repentance, because maybe it would have been necessary to give you a few more kicks, just as parents used to do once with rebellious children. You are so chained in ideology and intolerant of all paternal authority, heralds of a violent and intolerant democracy that turns to devour those who have served as pastors and guides there.

.

That would perhaps be asking too much to expect an official position from H.E. Mons. Guglielmo Giombanco? It would be too much to see a bishop who, following the example of the meek John Paul I, have the courage to dissolve these two offices of Catholic Action present in your diocese, just as Bishop Albino Luciani opposed the Catholic associations that were in favor of divorce and dissolved them by denying him spiritual assistance?

IN THE LIVING ROOM OF FABIO FAZIO, ARCHBISHOP VINCENZO PAGLIA CONFIRMS HIS IDIOT BROTHER OF DON ABBONDIO

The Holy Father Francis really said the phrase "who am I to judge a gay" in the way that Archbishop Vincenzo Paglia intends it, speaking not like the President of the Pontifical Academy of Life, but like any Nichi Vendola?

satirical representation of The Betrothed

He Prof. Luigi Manconi and S.E.. Mons. Vincenzo Paglia they put the book to the press The meaning of life. Dialogue between a religious and a little believer. The 18 April the two authors were guests in the living room of the biased Fabio Fazio, excellent war machine of the left radical chic.

.

Fabio Fazio is really tender when he smiles naively, pretending embarrassments and blushes worthy of a girl in her first menstruation, while Luciana Littizzetto, ferocious as a hungry hyena, it tears apart the Catholic Church and Christian sentiment with mockery. Both - needless to say - take shelter behind the finger of the right to satire: shy girl and hungry hyena.

.

Dialogue with non-believing scholars it can be very important and constructive. Initially, Vincenzo Paglia, does not start badly, however, he begins to get lost after the first few bars, and then quickly get lost, completely. From this bleak television host, a subject emerges who tries to meet the interlocutor in a truly disheartening way, showing in concrete facts that they are afraid to say the very things that should be said. Example: before an objection such as "In the event of a serious illness, the last decision, whether to die or live, it must be mine ", the Archbishop President from the Pontifical Academy for Life, cannot answer: "The important thing is that the patient is not left alone". It is a statement worthy of a romantic nun who is convinced that she can solve the tragedies of life and death by stroking the hand of the dying person. Something else would have been the question to be made, but Vincenzo Paglia evaded it without answering a fundamental question: a patient can ask the state to be killed, without anyone being able to give him any kind of hope just because he has decided so?

.

The reality of the facts is that Vincenzo Paglia is a limited little man not able to handle dialogue of this kind, all the more to a live television broadcast. Its serious flaw is that it tends excessively to distort the essence of Catholic faith and morality in order to meet those who claim the right not to take Catholic faith and morals into the least consideration. We can, indeed we must dialogue with everyone, but always keeping firm points, because if in some cases it is good to stand out in others we are required to distance ourselves and divide ourselves from certain interlocutors who try to impose ideas on life, ethics and morals which are totally unacceptable for Catholic faith and sentiment.

.

I try to clarify everything better with an example: In the 2000, when he came out there Declaration Dominus Iesus in which the exclusive concept of the salvific uniqueness of Christ God is reaffirmed, at a Door to door directed on the First Rai Channel by Bruno Vespa, the Dominican theologian Daniel Ols was invited. The then president of the Italian Jewish Communities was present in the studio, Tullia Zevi, who already knew little and badly about Jewish culture and theology, let alone the Catholic one. Despite his controversy, he claimed that that declaration marked in his opinion "a great step back in time after the Second Vatican Council" (!?). The Dominican theologian became animated and graciously told her in a dry and decisive way: "Lady, i'm sorry, but I can't sell off and debase the foundations of my faith to please her ".

.

The style of this Dominican master, French by birth and family but in fact more Roman than the Romans, he was an illuminating model for me when years later I found myself, as a presbyter and theologian, to speak on issues that are not particularly easy to deal with in a parterre television during a live broadcast, with very short response times and the presence of specialized interlocutors to divert the discourse to prevent speaking to those who dared to raise issues deemed unacceptable by the dictatorship of the politically correct.

.

At a certain point Fabio Fazio throws this appetizing question to Luigi Manconi:

.

«[…] there is also the individual choice of the sphere of sexuality, it is a theme that is dealt with very clearly. Also here, I don't think sexual orientation really agrees with you ".

.

The scholar responds promptly:

.

«[…] It must be said that the Catholic Church, ecclesial pastoral care, thanks also to Pope Francis, he has made enormous progress. And yet the Catechism of the Catholic Church still bears the affirmation that homosexuality is an expression of sexual disorder. Then, the great openness of the Church towards homosexuals essentially risks perfecting a serious misunderstanding, that is, basically I welcome homosexuals as long as they do not act homosexual, that is, I welcome homosexuals only if they perform chastity ... that is, what emerges is not just a legal question. Same-sex marriage, to understand each other, it is a matter of substance and concerns the very concept of love and pleasure, this is the very fascinating knot ... ".

.

Pay close attention: a few words Luigi Manconi carries out a work of total destructive devastation that separates morality from pastoral care and the Church from the Supreme Pontiff. On the one hand he praises and exalts the Reigning Pontiff, on the other hand he attacks the Catechism which he presents as unthinkable in actuality. Fabio Fazio does not linger and intervenes with a series of statements disguised as questions:

.

"Real distances, however not surmountable, I think, from any point of view. And it could only be so. Let's say that the paths that are taken to shorten these distances are paths that mark, to put it right, the tremor of fear, in the sense that there are no easy choices in any way and there are no easy positions in any way. But, Monsignor, I think I can say that the issue of self-determination is fundamental, that is, the positions diverge when it comes to talking about issues such as euthanasia, sexual orientations, abortion, in which precisely what we call self-determination comes into play ".

.

At this point Vincenzo Paglia manifests the best of its limitation, proving that he was not even able to grasp the destructive splits made by Luigi Manconi, while the interviewer took care to pack him a poison puff that the President of the Pontifical Academy for Life swallows without even chewing, through this response:

.

«I would be careful to reflect on this issue of self-determination, which is a word also linked to freedom. there, here the crux is: but we, we are truly free in an absolute sense? We are disconnected from others? For me it is not like that, we are all united. Our every gesture is always a social gesture, always requires a relationship with the other and the covid showed us this in a dramatic way: we put on the masks, we have a distance, not only to defend ourselves but to defend others as well. In this sense I said, in our dialogue with Luigi, that self-determination to freedom is obvious that it is a founding value, but freedom must always be linked to fraternity and equality, if we want to resume the triad of the French Revolution. And in this the line of charity, solidarity, or Pope Francis would say "of universal brotherhood", I think it is a line that we must fully resume on all fronts ".

.

Such an answer is worse than raising the white flag from the trenches, because in war, the deed of surrender, it has its own deep dignity, while the prostitution of those who indulge in all the worst whims of the customer without feeling pleasure and without being paid, he has no dignity, since he does not even do it for pleasure or for money, but only out of pure and gratuitous servility aimed at the satisfaction of others. To understand this unsuccessful dialogue that arises from the incapacities and limitations of Vincenzo Paglia, it would be enough to think of the square of opposti, or logical, by Michele Psello: the opposite propositions will meet each other if desired, but the contradictory ones are not. This is why Vincenzo Paglia proved unable to carry on a dialogue of this type, not failing to arouse embarrassment in all of us, Catholic priests and theologians, through the use of categories worthy of the most seasoned Freemason, instead of shepherds taking care of souls. Here then is that the dialectic is dragged once again into the political struggle and the annihilation of the adversary, something very clear to Professor Luigi Manconi, unknown instead to Archbishop Vincenzo Paglia who launches into a continuous gurgling of clichés and third-rate pastoralisms, ignoring even the foundations of those philosophical and theological categories which should support a Christian thought.

.

Having then magnified the cardboard idol of the French Revolution to please the ultra secularists at all costs, marked the apotheosis of Vincenzo Paglia's objective idiocy, unaware of the principles of freedom, equality and fraternity are the foundations of Christian ethics, not an invention of the Enlightenment and much less of the French Revolution, which was the largest and most violent bloodbath of modernity. These three gospel principles were then taken, twisted and transformed into anti-Christian elements, while the blood ran in rivers under the guillotines. In short, what history did Vincenzo Paglia study, if he has studied it? No one has ever told him that the French Revolution culminates with Robespierre's period of terror, with the innocent convicted and killed on the basis of simple accusations, but above all that the great fruit it produced was Napoleon Bonaparte? Just so: cut off the head of a king who came from at least a thousand-year-old lineage, the French placed the emperor's crown on a small Corsican corporal, who then put it in his head by himself, he was so arrogant. These, they are the historical fruits of the French Revolution, all the rest are false historians and legends created at the table during the nineteenth century by liberal enlighteners and Freemasons. Well I fear that poor Vincenzo Paglia ignores all this, in the same way that perhaps the person who has placed him in the delicate role he covers ignores him.

.

After having hit the mark, Fabio Fazio takes the reins to lead the donkey and finally tie it where the owner wants, continuing like this:

.

«Naturally I turn the question to Monsignor Paglia and I just extend it. He does not find that - what Professor Manconi was saying - can be summed up like this: there has always been an excess of attention, long since, by the Church, with respect to sexuality, that I distinguish this, which Manconi then summarized perfectly in this objection, is effectively surpassed by the reality of the facts and by human nature?»

.

Now tied like a donkey to the stake chosen for him, Vincenzo Paglia is now literally addicted to the desire to please at all costs and whatever it costs, until giving an answer that seems packaged and then came out of the mouth of Nichi Vendola:

.

«First of all, let's go in order, the theme of marriage has always been clear, marriage is between a man and a woman. Then, that there may be other cohabitations of another nature this is obvious and what Pope Francis said with great clarity is enough for me on the subject of homosexuality: “Who am I to judge him?”. So in this sense it is a dimension that must be recovered and certainly every homophobia must be fought decisively. As for the question she was asking, we know that the relationship between the Church and sexuality has never been linear, in fact it is true that at times there has been an identification between sexuality and sin and vice versa and this has brought a lot of damage […]»

.

The Pope Francis I, who, as I have written and explained several times, is not a polyglot like his Supreme Predecessor John Paul II was and who does not have a particularly good command of the Italian language, but how presumptuous and stubborn as few, he insists on talking to journalists off the cuff, in any case, he enunciated a profoundly and obviously Catholic concept. Let's go in order, first he began by saying: "If a person is gay and seeks the Lord and has good will" - this premise is of no small importance - "who am I" continues the Supreme Pontiff "to judge him?». Then he goes on stating: "The Catechism of the Catholic Church says that these people must not be discriminated against but welcomed". To those who then the message was not clear adds: “The problem is not having these tendencies, they are brothers, the problem is lobbying […]».

.

This is the whole sentence pronounced in response to the reporter from the Supreme Pontiff Francis during one of his return flights to Rome. It's been years that unfortunately, uselessly, in my articles, video-lessons and conferences, I explain what the Supreme Pontiff really said with that sentence: above all that welcoming the sinner who seeks God is the founding mission of the Church, that does not reject anyone, starting with homosexual people. Moreover, none of us, starting from the Successor of the Blessed Apostle Peter, he can read and judge the conscience of a man, that God alone can read and, above all, to judge. Hence the obvious statement consistently and theologically Catholic: "Who am I to judge?». To follow with the call to the lobbies which is equivalent to saying: the problem is not having these tendencies, but to pass them through the social and political activism of gay lobbies as well. Which is to say: the problem, for the Church which must always welcome the sinner, it is not having these tendencies; the problem is sin, or rather the lobbies that would demand acceptance and legitimation not of the sinner, but of sin. And the Church will never be able to sanctify sin, even if all the lobbies of this world claim it and demand it.

.

Unfortunately, the phrase "who am I to judge?"?» torn from its articulated context, ended up on the banners of Gay Pride between the cries of crazy queers masquerading as nuns in fishnet stockings and stilettos. So the Supreme Pontiff did not say this the same way he did, to quote another billboard from Gay Pride, when St. Augustine Bishop and Doctor of the Church says "love and do what you want", by no means does he mean that a boy can get on all fours with another boy who works behind him. This badly extrapolated Augustinian expression, it is inserted in a commentary on the First Letter of St. John, in which, amare, it means to conform, through human freedom, our will to God's will. This means "love and do what you want", to do fully the will of God, source of eternal love. It does not mean getting on all fours with a boy who works behind you and with everything Gay Pride praising "love and do what you want".

.

I refuse to comment on this confused anthology of Vincenzo Paglia, to the same extent that I would refuse to see and then comment on a porn movie. The latter is linked to an expression of the great philosopher and theologian of the twentieth century Cornelius the carpenter, which indicated certain subjects such as Porn-theologians from the Porn-theology. there, Vincenzo Paglia is a genuine pornocrat when he claims:

.

«[…] it is true that at times there has been an identification between sexuality and sin and vice versa and this has caused a lot of damage. In reality, however, a more serene relationship is emerging […]».

.

By stating this you are practically apologizing to the ultra-secularists if the Church, for a long time, has counted lust among the Seven Deadly Sins. Also for this I I refuse to comment on the stupid and reckless words of this little man, that for sure, a bishop and doctor of the Church such as Sant’Alfonso Maria de ’Liguori, considered the father of Catholic morality, he would have literally beaten him up. Why this, at the bottom of, Vincenzo Paglia deserves: to be beaten like the merchants in the temple.

.

Respect for the truth requires us to conclude by remembering to all affected by chronic anti-bergoglism that Vincenzo Paglia the Holy Father wanted him to be a bishop saint now John Paul II, with Cardinal Camillo Ruini that this appointment supported it by accepting the pious suggestions of the Community of Sant’Egidio. All this took place in the 2000, while the one that some have taken the habit to indicate as the greatest theologian of the twentieth century, he was Prefect of the Congregation for the Doctrine of the Faith, Cardinal Joseph Ratzinger, then risen to the sacred throne. And under the pontificate of Benedict XVI, the good Vincenzo Paglia thrived for eight years, doing endless damage in the Diocese of Terni-Narni-Amelia, where by the way left a deficit for tens of millions of euros and a fresco in the cathedral church which seems to be the representation of an orgy in a gay club in Testaccio. Having said this, it is good to clarify that the Supreme Pontiff Francis I, who also gave wisdom to be extraordinary in choosing the wrong people, however, the responsibility for having chosen Vincenzo Paglia cannot be attributed. Because the fault lies entirely with the Holy Father saint now and of the greatest theologian of the twentieth century, Benedict XVI.

THE GOOD SHEPHERD IS THE ONE WHO LEADS WITH SERENITY BY GIVING HERSELF WITH CHARITY IN THE LIQUID WORLD

Jesus describes the figure of the mercenary as opposed to his own. The mercenary expresses the mentality of the liquid world. In fact it does not give life, flees from the dangers of those entrusted to him. The mercenary uses the sheep as objects, as long as it suits them and for personal gain. Roman aqueduct on the Appia Antica

Dear Readers L'Isola di Patmos,

when I was a high school student I used to go for a run in the park near my house every now and then, a huge countryside inside the Appia Antica Park. One day I remember that a large flock of sheep appeared in this large green area. Behind a young shepherd who directed them by whistling in their direction. And the silent sheep, also accompanied by the shepherd dog, they obeyed.

.

This tale of the Gospel of Saint John offered by the liturgy of this fourth Sunday of Easter [cf.. 10, 11-18], providentially reminds us that in these times of great uncertainty, today the Lord comes to meet us and reminds us that He is the Good Shepherd of our life. It is precisely in this great mystery that today's readings introduce us. Especially in the Gospel of John, Jesus presents himself as such by affirming:

.

"I am the good shepherd. The good shepherd lays down his life for the sheep. The mercenary […] sees the wolf coming, abandon the sheep and flee, and the wolf kidnaps and scatters them; because he is a mercenary and does not care about the sheep ".

.

We immediately notice that Jesus describes the figure of the mercenary as opposed to his own. The mercenary clearly expresses the mentality of the liquid world. In fact it does not give life, flees from the dangers of those entrusted to him. The mercenary uses the sheep as objects, as long as it suits them and for personal gain. He does not know how to guard, but it only uses a domain perspective. It therefore has a merely utilitarian mentality.

.

On the contrary, the good Shepherd is quite the opposite. He knows and loves his sheep. Interesting how there is this link between knowing and loving, which finds its foundation in the relationship of knowledge and love that exists between the Eternal Father and Christ Logos. Indeed, in the Hebrew and Aramaic languages spoken by Jesus, the word to know is said with the word yadah indicating it is an intellectual knowledge, is at the same time an emotional intimacy. When Jesus says know then he wants to indicate that there is a truthful and very intimate relationship between him and us, his sheep. Precisely because he loves us, he offers his life and remains, giving himself to the end, in Gethsemane. He offers all of himself to free us from the slavery of sin.

.

In offering life there is the deepest reason for all the Trinitarian movement. The Lord explains it to us in clear words, continuing in this way:

.

«For this the Father loves me: because I give my life, and then pick it up again. Nobody takes it from me: I give it myself. I have the power to give it and the power to take it back again. This is the command I received from my Father ".

.

The Eternal Father in fact he entrusted the visible mission to Jesus of incarnating himself, become a man like us, live the days of passion and death and then rise again. Here then is that the Incarnation and Easter have the element of love in common: all of us in the risen Jesus obtain the grace to love and know God. The Trinitarian mentality of offering and self-love overcomes the utilitarian mentality. Because it renews man entirely in God: anima, body and spirit. This deeply questions our lives of faith.

.

We want to be mercenaries or shepherds? We want to enter into the perspective of domination or self-offering? If we really choose to strive to be consistent with our vocation, we too enter into the perspective of the Eternal Father who sends Jesus: then we respond to His command, which, however, is not a dictatorial imposition. It is adhering to a project of personal community love which is the expression of a greater freedom. Enter the perspective of the Trinity, it means welcoming our mission which will offer priceless joy and satisfaction.

.

We ask the Lord to enter more and more into his perspective of offering and oblation of ourselves, to involve the whole world in the horizon of theological charity and generate the true civilization of love, united in the love of the one Shepherd.

.

With the typical arrogance of those who do not admit mistakes, but indeed it confirms it, young people have removed this post by replacing it with another in which they confirm the contents of the previous one. And if there is anything worse than committing understandable, sometimes inevitable and above all forgivable human errors, it is the obstinacy to support and confirm the error. What this leads us to the greatest and most serious of all deadly sins: the Superbia.

After the delusional ones and farcical propaganda approaches of starred VIPs in favor of the Scalfarotto-Zan bill, that following an interview made during the program Straight and Reverse the 22 April showed all their crass ignorance about the specifics and practical consequences of the bill, timidly they make their appearance on the scene of the Catholic correct i Catholic Boys of "who am I to judge". That's what happens, for less than twenty-four hours, in Castel di Lucio (Messina) in the Diocese of Patti, where seventeen young people from Catholic Action post a photo on their Facebook page in which they are portrayed with their hands stretched out in support of the law against transomophobia.

.

The need was felt, vero? So much to ask me: how much we still need to see on other Facebook pages - of the Franciscan Youth, of the various Third Orders, of Agesci and other Catholic realities - similar positions, praising and blessing a law that is clearly contrary to man and which certainly does not help people with a homosexual orientation?

.

It is necessary to reiterate, once and for all, that the manifestation of thought is free. Just as the decision to adhere to Catholic Christianity and to try to remain within it with a coherence of faith that includes above all obedience to the dogma and provisions of the Church in matters of morals and customs remains free., as recently reaffirmed by the Congregation for the Doctrine of the Faith on same-sex unions.

.

It's true, I remain free to think differently from Revelation and the Church but in this case I will have the decency and the intelligence not to define myself as a Catholic Christian and not to take advantage of an ecclesial reality, such as Catholic Action, to advertise my personal and rambling positions of heterodirect thinking. Because if that were the case, the glorious Catholic Action, once a guarantee of catholicity for many faithful, would find herself being downgraded to public vespasian where her young offspring have already started peeing out of the pot, with the sole consequence of spreading not the good scent of Christ but that of urine as happens for any public bathroom. After that, as soon as their post began to circulate, but especially, after our Hypatia Gatta Romana wrote a short ironic article his The Island of Patmos, opened in just over an hour since almost 100.000 Visitors, it happened that, with the typical arrogance of those who do not admit error, but indeed it confirms it, young people have removed this post by replacing it with another in which they confirm the contents of the previous one. And if there is anything worse than committing understandable, sometimes inevitable and above all forgivable human errors, it is the obstinacy to support and confirm the error. What this leads us to the greatest and most serious of all deadly sins: the Superbia.

.

The faithful Catholic is well aware that his thought is enlightened by the grace of Christ who through Baptism and Confirmation was informed by the Holy Spirit so that Christ and the Church do not become the victims of the ideological liberalism that homologates right reason. For this dear children of Castel di Lucio, you have no excuses and even when they praise you - including priests - for your very respectable post, know that they are false praise and liars! Yup, I tell you false and liars on the basis of the same praises that Jesus fled because he was aware of the fact that human malice elects as sovereign whoever satisfies his own belly [cf.. GV 6,15] forgetting the soul in which God dwells.

.

But let's read directly from the official Facebook page of the Catholic Action of Castel di Lucio the comment, currently removed, in support of the propaganda photo of the Scalfarotto-Zan bill:

.

splendid specimen of capuchin monkey

“In the course of his public life, Jesus constantly took the side of those whom society excluded, of the most defenseless and of the “last” of the earth. He openly reproached the hypocrisy of the Pharisees, of those who in their moral precepts wanted to enclose man in sterile laws, preventing man from manifesting himself in his full freedom and in his true essence willed by God. You agree with the example of Christ, the Catholic Action of Castel di Lucio supports the approval of the Zan bill which provides for measures to prevent and combat discrimination and violence for reasons based on sex, on gender, on sexual orientation, on gender identity and disability. Misogyny, homotransphobia and ability are serious forms of sin that go totally against the precepts of the Gospel, and it is our task to take sides so that these events are countered as soon as possible ".

.

So formulated this statement is nothing short of embarrassing, because an average-trained seminarian in the third year of theology would be enough to highlight all the gross errors in both scriptural and moral matters. But let's go into detail:

.

“In the course of his public life, Jesus constantly took the side of those whom society excluded, of the most defenseless and of the “last” of the earth. He openly reproached the hypocrisy of the Pharisees, of those who in their moral precepts wanted to enclose man in sterile laws, preventing man from manifesting himself in his full freedom and in his true essence willed by God ".

.

This is patently false and malicious! Because Christ does not fit into the imagination of the South American revolutionary advocate of Liberation Theology or the Robin Hood who steals from the rich to give to the poor. The closeness of Christ for all men, therefore not only for the poor, it can be understood only by looking at the mystery of the Incarnation. And in a particular way, it is at the moment of his baptism in the Jordan that he - true God and true man - solidarizes and shares man's condition of weakness. He undergoes a baptism of conversion so that man understands that only with man God is it possible to free oneself from sin. We see the same thing on Easter evening when Jesus joins the disciples of Emmaus who, foolish and slow of heart to believe [cf.. LC 24,25], they had not yet fully understood and needed a journey together with the Risen One so that their eyes could see.

.

when a goliardic joke between teenage high school students becomes a national case thanks to the ideologies of adults with no sense of proportion and ridicule …

For Jesus the last are sinners, just as it was in the case of Matthew the Publican, of Zacchaeus, dell'Adultera, of the Paralytic, of the Canaanite woman, of the Good Thief. Indeed, he came to call not the righteous but sinners, and in the encounter with the sinner he gives an abundance of mercy together with the command not to sin anymore [cf.. GV 5,14; 8-11], the same that the priest confessor pronounces after sacramental absolution.

.

In the relationship with the scribes and the Pharisees it is true that we can read Jesus' open contrast to their hypocritical lifestyle but it is aimed above all at repentance. They too are in a sense called friends. As for Nicodemus, Jesus invites scribes, Pharisees and doctors of the Law to be reborn from above [cf.. GV 3,1-15] so that they can acquire the wisdom of the Holy Spirit and thus fulfill the role of teachers in communion with the will of God.

.

It goes without saying that such an attitude of Jesus does not invalidate the goodness of the Mosaic Law that, although it is insufficient for salvation as the apostle Paul will say in the letter to the Romans, it is not rejected:

.

“Practice and observe everything they tell you, but do not act according to their works, because they say and do not do " [cf.. Mt 23,1-7] […] "You do not think that I have come to abolish the Law or the Prophets; I have not come to abolish, but to fulfill " [cf.. Mt 5,17].

.

These are homophobic gay, or simply homosexual human beings with common sense?

Jesus knows the Law the A he interprets as the wisest and most refined exegete, rejecting those distorted connotations that try to adapt the Law to human miseries and wills, as is the case with repudiation and adultery:

.

«[…] the hardness of your heart he wrote this standard for you. But from the beginning of creation he made them male and female; for this the man will leave his father and his mother and will unite with his wife and the two will become one flesh. So they are no longer two, but only one flesh. So, man does not divide what God has joined " [cf.. MC 10,5-9].

.

The true essence of man, dear children of Catholic Action, it is discovered only in the encounter with God, in conforming through human freedom, my will to God's will not in doing what my belly tells me! But let's go on ...

.

"You agree with the example of Christ, the Catholic Action of Castel di Lucio supports the approval of the Zan bill which provides for measures to prevent and combat discrimination and violence for reasons based on sex, on gender, on sexual orientation, on gender identity and disability.

.

What example can you give in which Christ, throughout the Holy Gospel, approves and supports sin? Or are you going to make members of Christ, limbs of a prostitute? Furthermore…

.

The bronze sculpture known as Manneken Pis and preserved in the historical center of Brussels

«Misogyny, homotransphobia and ability are serious forms of sin that go totally against the precepts of the Gospel, and it is our task to take sides so that these events are countered as soon as possible ".

.

Dear boys, I recommend that you attend the Catechism again in preparation for Confirmation, because in that case you would come to discover that the gravest sin is the sin against the Holy Spirit, certainly not misogyny, homotransphobia and ability:

.

«[…] all will be forgiven the children of men, the sins and also all the blasphemies they will say; but whoever has blasphemed the Holy Spirit will not be forgiven forever: is guilty of eternal guilt " [cf.. MC 3,28-29]

.

If you want to take sides, be political activists, but first fight your ignorance which prevents you not only from reading a text and understanding it but which first of all deprives you of that necessary humility that leads you to question your spiritual assistants so that they avoid these miserable and miserable figures before the whole Church of God..

From the tragic theater of Alessandro Zan and Ivan Scalfarotto to the grotesque theater of Luciana Littizzetto, while dwarfs and dancers applaud the bill on transomophobia

FROM THE TRAGIC THEATER BY ALESSANDRO ZAN AND IVAN SCALFAROTTO TO THE GROTTESCO THEATER BY LUCIANA LITTIZZETTO, WHILE DWARFS AND DANCERS PLAUDE THE LAW DRAWING ON TRANSOMOPHOBIA

.

Alessandro Cecchi Paone replies to an interview declaring himself a Mason, favorevole all’aborto, to euthanasia and homosexualism, affirming at the same time that "Francis is a fantastic Pope" and that "everything changed with him". We are sure that Francis would be willing to bless Freemasonry? Of course, to the point of thundering that Freemasonry is incompatible with Catholicism. Veramente, would be willing to bless abortion? Of course, to the point of declaring that abortion is equivalent to hiring a hitman to kill a person. Veramente, they would be willing to bless the practice of homosexuality? Of course, to the point of grooming the Italian bishops gathered in plenary assembly saying that when in doubt it is better to give up a vocation rather than run the risk of admitting a homosexual to the seminary.

I couldn't do without to attend the VIP media theater who in recent days have smeared the palm of their hand giving support and support to the Scalfarotto-Zan bill [cf.. WHO]. I found Catholic journalist Costanza Miriano's Facebook post saying very true and appropriate:

.

“I don't see many calloused hands, among those recruited for the campaign in favor of the Zan bill. I don't see hands used to working […] no hand of ordinary people. I only see the hands and faces of VIPs who are unfamiliar with real life and its real problems ".

.

L 'Identikit by the Unique Artist it is therefore traced [see, WHO]. Of that multicolored and variegated mass of influence, actors, porn movie icons, singers, soubrette, cooks, dwarfs and dancers who uncritically recite the same slogans and dance the same dances. Of that politically correct that, alas, drags the improvised ordinary man into the labyrinth of democratic freedom, where a frightening Minotaur wanders ready to grab and where a thread of Ariadne is no longer enough to find the exit but it is wise and prudent not to enter it at all [on the subject see our previous articles WHO, WHO].

.

How right you are dear Costanza, we are witnessing a real disconnect with reality! The pandemic trial period that we are still going through - with its inevitable tragedies and poverty - has taught man nothing at all, on the contrary, it hardened his intelligence and sclerotized his heart.

.

Fernando Botero, Circus people, exposure: Contini Gallery, Venice, April 2010

In this surreal landscape, qwhat I found particularly bad taste was the case of Mrs. Luciana Littizzetto, fatal Woman of the left take-away, who in Fabio Fazio's living room takes Senator Simone Pillon for a ride with a letter mocking his alleged homophobia [cf.. WHO]. This in the present days, because it is good to remember as in a very distant past, this Gentile Torinese, in need more than others than piety and Christian mercy, thus mocked the Supreme Pontiff Benedict XVI [cf.. WHO] but in the present, however, he is careful not to do it with the Supreme Pontiff Francis I, with which it is all sympathy, to the point of declaring itself "bergogliosa" [cf.. WHO] … I wonder why? Let's try to understand this through a recent interview with Alessandro Cecchi Paone on the Canale 9 by Peter Gomez, because that interview is a true paradigm. This famous reporter, first he replies to the interviewer by premising that he is a member of the highest echelons of Freemasonry, then he goes on to declare himself in favor of abortion, to euthanasia and homosexualism. All these statements interspersed with ejaculation: "Francis is a fantastic Pope" and "everything changed with him" [see fragment, WHO]. But they, they are really sure that the surreal Francis they invented is willing to bless Freemasonry? Of course, to the point that he made the Sovereign Order of Malta "commissioner" complaining that it was infiltrated by Freemasons and thundering that Freemasonry was incompatible with Catholicism [cf.. WHO]. Veramente, the surreal Francesco they invented, would be willing to bless abortion? Of course, to the point of having declared that abortion is like hiring a hitman to kill an innocent [cf.. WHO]. Veramente, they are sure that the surreal Francis they invented is willing to bless the socio-cultural exaltation of the active practice of homosexuality? Of course, to the point that speaking behind closed doors to all the Italian bishops he complained - that is, he reproached them - that the seminaries were full of homosexuals, stating in this regard that when in doubt it was better to give up a vocation rather than run the risk of admitting a homosexual to the seminary [cf.. WHO].

.

Fernando Botero, Circus people, exposure: Contini Gallery, Venice, April 2010

It is a script already seen and again we will see and will be repeated in the following months, politics is a Leviathan who crushes and devours everything and there is no reason to agree with Plato when in the Apology of Socrates he suggests that it is much better to listen to that divine voice of the Socratic δαίμων, which prohibits the philosopher from dealing with the affairs of the state on pain of death, discredit or exile (cf.. Plato, Socrates' apology, Nineteenth).

.

Christians do not fear death, discredit or exile, because they do not come to life from the theater of that multicolored and variegated mass of influence, actors, porn movie icons, singers, soubrette, cooks, dwarfs and dancers who uncritically recite the same slogans and dance the same; Christians are children of the God ofExulte of the Easter Vigil, hymn that narrates the victory over death and that taught us a way out of the tomb. Nor do they caciara in the talk show replacing in matters of theology and morals the trained priests who certainly do not found parties with a controlled Christian denomination but who are at the forefront to try to form and defend the people of God entrusted to them.

.

The style of the Gospel is the same as the mustard seed that germinates in smallness and in hiding to reveal itself capable of supporting the birds of the sky and giving shelter to the unfortunate. That is why I always feel a real sadness in noting that several Christians, some of which are engaged in parishes and convents, they stay with Littizzetto and share on Facebook the mocking prowess of the gianduiotta guitta, shown in video even on the page on-line of Famiglia Cristiana [cf.. WHO].

.

Fernando Botero, Circus people, exposure: Contini Gallery, Venice, April 2010

La questione è semplice, for us Christians, certain discourses or positions should not be seen in the dialectic of political conflict but of the paschal experience experienced on the living Christ, risen, who eats with his apostles and invites to touch him [cf.. meditation by Gabriele Giordano M. Scardocci, WHO].

.

Therefore dear Christians, refuse certain idea, ethical positions, political and social orientation means not indulging and taming the concupiscence that is the cause of sin. Instead we look for what is necessary, indeed the urgent, invoking that divine grace that moves the mountains of our sin, just as the Church teaches us to repeat in that beautiful invocation of the Liturgy of the Hours which opens every canonical hour: "Hate, come and save me, man, come to my aid soon ".

.

Yes, sir, come to our aid, we are too unable to help ourselves, if we lose faith in the illusion of following political fevers, we stop believing to find ourselves sadly pagan.

We apologize for the hypersensitivity of the members of the “vegan religion”, but Jesus Christ ate the roasted fish (cf.. LC 24, 35-48)

On this Sunday of Easter time we continue to meditate on the apparitions of the Risen One. This is an ongoing exercise in repeating and memorizing the great Easter events. In fact, one of the things that our society lacks most is the aspect of memory. We easily forget the beautiful events, or those of suffering that have happened to us. Memory is instead one of our most important faculties, also for understanding and elaborating the world around us.

.

We too easily forget the center of our faith: the crucifixion and resurrection. However, Scripture promptly reminds us of this. In fact, in today's Lucanian Gospel we read:

.

"During that time, [the two disciples who had returned from Emmaus] narravano [to the Eleven and to those who were with them] what had happened along the way and how they recognized [Jesus] in breaking bread " (LC 24, 35-48].

.

The same disciples of Emmaus they tell the eleven what happened: Jesus broke bread with them. There is an element of narration, of story, and above all to remember that it was in that broken bread that they recognized Jesus. This is also true for us today: in fact when in the Holy Mass we see the priest breaking the bread, we see Jesus the Eucharist present among us. In that break, we remember and relive the sacrifice of Jesus in a memorial that is vital to us: Jesus offers himself in the Holy Mass, without loss of quality of the meal, to give us grace and eternal life.

.

Here then is the memory of Christ's sacrifice for us. Vitale e fondante della nostra vita terrena in cammino verso la santità. Now Jesus after his sacrifice of the Passion is truly risen. And so it appears immediately between the apostles and the two of Emmaus to confirm that it is all true. Jesus is not a ghost of the gods movie horror. It is indeed he in the glorified risen body:

.

"But he said: “Because you are upset, and why doubts arise in your heart? Look at my hands and my feet: It's really me! Touch me and see; a ghost has no flesh and bones as you see I have ". By saying this, he showed them his hands and feet. […] “You have here something to eat?”. They offered him a portion of roasted fish; he took it and ate it in front of them " [LC 24, 38-43].

.

This Luke dwelling on a roasted fish it may seem like an insignificant detail. Instead the fish is a Greek acronym that recalls the Mystery of Christ, savior and redeemer, the greek ichtus (Iesùs Christòs theòs uiòs sotèr, Jesus Christ Son of God the Savior). È dunque un secondo richiamo, a powder’ hidden perhaps this time, to his redeeming passion.

.

Finally, Jesus is explicit. The center of understanding the scriptures and the word of God is his Mystery of Crucifixion.

.

"Then he opened their minds to understanding the Scriptures and said: “So it is written: Christ will have to suffer and rise from the dead on the third day and in his name conversion and forgiveness of sins will be preached to all peoples, starting from Jerusalem. You are witnesses of this "" [LC 24, 47-48].

.

From that crucifixion and resurrection, the disciples and apostles are witnesses and preachers. Per questo tale mistero si è trasmesso nel corso dei secoli ed è giunto fino a noi mediante i Successori degli apostoli. Therefore remembering that the center of everything is the risen Christ, in joy and peace, even our daily life, illuminated and galvanized by faith it changes. Because it is poured out by the peace and goodness of Jesus. Therefore, every moment of life should not be forgotten, but placed under the Easter lens. Knowing that in the darkest night or the strongest light of our life, Jesus makes us witnesses of his joy.

.

This completely transfigures everything and invites us to take a different look at the world. Not a silly or careless look; but a resurrected look in Christ. As winners with him, on the path of the Church, in the Catholic faith. The Lebanese poet Khalìl Gibran wrote:

.

"Love is the link in a chain that begins with a glance and flows into the eternal".

.

Let us ask the Lord for the grace of the love of charity and with the help of the tenderness of the Blessed Virgin Mary, we will scrutinize the whole world with the charitable gaze of the Trinity.

The presbyter and theologian Hans Küng died. This chasm ran between him and his age Joseph Ratzinger: Küng was gifted with genius, Ratzinger absolutely not!

- ecclesial news -

THE PRIEST AND THEOLOGIST HANS KÜNG IS DEAD. THIS ABYSS RUN BETWEEN HIM AND THE COETANEOUS JOSEPH RATZINGER: KÜNG WAS BRILLIANT, RATZINGER ABSOLUTELY NO!

.

Hans Küng has always been a person of rare pleasantness, also naturally gifted with a physical appearance that made him look like an actor Hollywood, especially in the age group between fifty and sixty years, when natural beauty also combined the typical charm of mature men who have begun their journey towards old age in the best form. A beautiful figure therefore, masculine and charming, that had nothing to do with the figures of those priests and those theologians who in their physical appearance often appear as specks hovering between the androgynous, the asexual and the feminine.

Hans Küng, presbyter and theologian (Sursee, 19 March 1928 - † Tubinga, 6 April 2021). Photo taken on the occasion of his 80th birthday

In journalistic jargon it is called “crocodile” the piece already written and placed in the drawer awaiting the death of the famous character. The archives of journalists are feet of crocodiles. Write a short piece, if anything, about a complex and controversial character, it is not easy. Having said this, I state that none of the Fathers de The Island of Patmos had a ready crocodile for the Swiss-German presbyter and theologian Hans Küng.

.

I have often made references to Hans Küng, recently also in a book of mine dedicated to two famous heretics of very small size: Kiko Argüello and Carmen Hernandez, the initiators of the Neocatechumenal Way, a veritable concentrate of returning heresies. All with a formal and substantial difference: heretics have always been superior and very brilliant minds, just think of an Arius or a Pelagius. Contrary to the two bohemians Spaniards who made even heresy expire, always the prerogative of the most sublime minds. And right in this book of mine called The sect Neocatechumenal. Heresy became Kiko and dwelt among us, I go back to using this famous theologian as a paradigm.

.

Giving a heretic to those who fall and remain in substantial and formal heresy it is not an insult, but a simple factual observation linked to the sphere of the doctrine of the faith. Or better understood: I know full-blown heretics who on the human level are people of rare amiability; and the same, on the ethical and moral level, they are people of impeccable conduct. Instead, I know just as many people, endowed with the purest and most orthodox doctrine, impeccable zealous theologians, with whom I try to avoid being in company for only ten minutes, so much do I consider them humanly unpleasant and sometimes even repellent.

.

Over the years, disserting on various theological themes I have frequently pointed out the Reverend Professor Hans Küng as a dangerous heretic, accusing him on several occasions of having carried out works of devastating demolition through the methodical de-structuring of some of the fundamental dogmas of the Catholic faith.

.

I have perhaps never stated and written that Hans Küng was a bad guy, a bad person or a mediocre unpleasant subject? Of course not! Hans Küng has always been a person of rare pleasantness, also naturally gifted with a physical appearance that made him look like an actor Hollywood, especially in the age group between fifty and sixty years, when natural beauty also combined the typical charm of mature men who have begun their journey towards old age in the best form. A beautiful figure therefore, masculine and charming, that had nothing to do with the figures of those priests and those theologians who in their physical appearance often appear as specks hovering between the androgynous, the asexual and the feminine.

.

Hans Küng was a true rising star of theology, with natural intellectual and speculative gifts and oratory and communicative qualities that other theologians did not have, among these his distinguished contemporary Joseph Ratzinger. Both were perished in the assembly of the Second Vatican Council between 1962 and the 1965, both in their early thirties, but with this difference: when Josef Ratzinger spoke, the listeners said to each other "this is a very good theologian", when instead Hans Küng spoke, listeners, in being deeply fascinated by his figure, from his oratory and his profound competence, they said to each other "this will reach who knows what levels in a few years".

.

The result of both is universally known: Hans Küng has become a speaker of heresies, Joseph Ratzinger became Metropolitan Archbishop of München, Prefect of the Congregation for the Doctrine of the Faith and later 265th successor of the Blessed Apostle Peter.

.

That I am on the ecclesial and doctrinal side of Joseph Ratzinger and not by Hans Küng, it cannot in any way induce me, for emotional irrational affection, to deny the evidence of the facts: Hans Küng, intellectually and speculatively he had natural qualities greater than those of Joseph Ratzinger very high. If in fact the first was by nature a genius, the second was an intelligent person gifted for theological studies. And the difference between a genius and an intelligent and gifted subject is truly remarkable. Then, with the passage of time, it happened that the first became a dangerous heretic and the second Supreme Pontiff [excerpt from from the cited work, pag. 43-44, I ed. Rome 2019, Editions The island of Patmos].

.

The damage that Hans Küng produced were remarkable, starting from a brilliant intelligence with all the higher abilities connected to it, used to damage the Church and the theological world. This is why the priests, those who still believe in God's judgment, to eternal life, to Paradise, in Hell and Purgatory - which is not at all obvious these days - they would do well to offer Holy Masses of suffrage for the soul of this brother of ours, who will surely need it very much.

WHY JESUS ONCE DEAD DESCENDED TO HELL BEFORE RISING FROM THE DEAD ON THE THIRD DAY?

Before the resurrection something happens that many fail to understand and that others, Unfortunately, they just don't know: Christ, once dead, descends into the underworld. St. Paul the Apostle writes: “He had descended into the lower regions of the earth. He who descended is the same who also ascended "

Dear brothers and sisters,

Fra Angelico, Christ enters the underworld by breaking down the door and crushing a demon under it

happy Easter! After the Lenten journey, the Lord allows us to reach the awaited goal of his resurrection, on which our faith is founded and is based [See. The Cor 15, 14]. Truly today we all gather in Jesus and in him we are all united and joyful. Easter is truly the transition from the slavery of sin, of darkness, therefore of sadness and uncertainty to the liberation of joy, of the happiness of the certainty of the resurrection.

.

Before the resurrection something happens that many cannot understand, others unfortunately do not know at all: Christ, once dead, descends into the underworld. St. Paul the Apostle writes: “He had descended into the lower regions of the earth. He who descended is the same who also ascended " [Ef 4,10]. In this regard, he teaches the Catechism of the Catholic Church to numbers 632-637:

.

«The Scripture calls hell [cf.. the 2,10; At 2,24; AP 1,18; Ef 4,9] the place of the dead where the dead Christ descended, because those who are there are deprived of the vision of God [cf.. Shall 6,6; 88,11-13]. Such indeed is, waiting for the Redeemer, the fate of all the dead, bad or righteous [cf.. Shall 6,6; 88,11-13]; which does not mean that their fate is identical, as Jesus demonstrates in the parable of poor Lazarus welcomed into "Abraham's womb" [See. LC 16,22-26]. "It was precisely the souls of these righteous awaiting Christ who were freed by Jesus who descended into hell" [Roman Catechism, 1, 6, 3: ed. P. Rodriguez (Vatican City-Pamplona 1989) p. 71]”. Jesus did not descend into hell to free the damned [cf.. Council of Rome (year 745), Christ's descent into hell: DS 587] nor to destroy the hell of damnation [cf.. Benedict XII, Little Book since a long time (1341), 18: DS 1011; Clement VI, Letter on some (year 1351), (c). 15, 13: DS 1077] but to free the righteous who had preceded him [See. Council of Toledo IV (year 633), Chapter, 1: DS 485; Mt 27,52-53].

.

Now let's see the readings of this Liturgy of the Word [cf.. WHO]. On Easter morning the witnesses of the Passion, with his heart still overwhelmed by the dramatic events, make a surprising discovery. Mary of Magdala first goes to the tomb. Imagine the scene of that walk: the affectionate friend of Jesus is with a dismayed heart swollen with sadness for what had happened just two days earlier. Just arrived at the door of the sepulcher, one realizes that the body of Jesus has disappeared.

.

"They have taken the Lord out of the tomb and we know not where they have laid!» [GV, 20,2].

.

Peter and John are also warned. Ma, says the gospel, they had not yet understood that Jesus had to rise from the dead; although Giovanni, who enters the tomb after Peter, he saw and believed. The faith of the two apostles in this prodigious event remains: despite not understanding everything immediately. Jesus had repeated it to him several times, that he would be crucified and then resurrected. And yet they themselves struggle to believe and understand.

.

It is also a little bit’ the situation of all of us today. We believe in the mystery of the resurrection, but we struggle to get into it. Perhaps because we have not met Jesus risen, but his Resurrection has been holyly handed down to us. Or perhaps because there is a simpler reason. Because we have lost the training to pray, contemplate and meditate on these divine mysteries. Overwhelmed by the speed of life today, from messages social, from the pressing work, from the book releases we have a little’ put the important things in the attic. We too imitate the unbridled rush of Peter and John. But unlike the apostles we do not run to the risen Jesus, but towards a thousand distractions. Beyond what they already are.

.

On this Easter 2021, then let's try to stop on these verses of the Gospel. We enter into the perspective of the Resurrection, which is the action of rising with Christ. The resurrection for us already begins today, if we orient ourselves to re-reading every event with the view of the resurrected. That is, with a view to no longer living as men destined to die, but as believers destined to die and then live eternally. So let us make St. Paul's invitation our own when he says:

.

"Brothers, if you are resurrected with Christ, look for the things above, where is Christ, sitting at the right hand of God; turn your thoughts to the things above, not to those of the earth ". [With the 3,1]

.

Think about the things up there obviously it does not imply living in a continuous state of metaphysical visionaries or lost in some sort of trance induced mysticism. Looking for the things above means trying to live our faith concretely and daily. Which is faith because it becomes a life of holiness. Pietro and Giovanni, as we will see in the coming Sundays, they will explain the empty tomb because they will see the risen Jesus. A quel point, they will be the first witnesses of the joyful event of Easter; the apostles, that without the fear that had made them flee before the Passion, they transmitted this extraordinary event to us. Peter offers us his testimony, when in the first reading of the acts he says:

.

«[…] God consecrated Jesus of Nazareth in the Holy Spirit and power, […] They [the Jews] they killed him by hanging him on a cross, but God raised him up on the third day and wanted him to manifest, not to all the people, but to witnesses chosen by God, to us who ate and drank with him after his resurrection from the dead " [At 10, 38. 39 – 42]

.

This call to eat and drink with him, in addition to the moments spent together with Jesus at the table, it is a call to the Eucharist. Here then is where to draw our spiritual food and drink to be able to walk the way of faith. The resurrection is lived especially at Easter, but every Sunday, in which Christ makes himself present in the body, blood, soul and divinity is always Easter and resurrection in Him, for him, with him.

.

This feeling of closeness is described in a moving poem by Giuseppe Ungaretti:

.

Christ, thoughtful heartbeat, / Star embodied in human darkness, / Brother who immolates you / Perpetually to rebuild / Humanly man, / Santo, Holy you suffer, /Teacher and brother and God you know us weak, / Santo, Holy you suffer / To free the dead from death /

.

We thank the Lord, for the gift of the Resurrection, let us ask him for the grace to unite us little by little more and more to him in faith, in hope and theological charity, protected by the sweet Marian mantle.
