The 27 June 1998 the law that makes gambling legal in our country comes into force, regulated and managed by the State Monopolies. The hyperbole is evident, only the emotional blind and digital illiterate can fail to grasp the completely provocative sense, paradoxical and not least grotesque as well, misunderstanding the clear meaning and finally accusing me of having instigated femicide. And I can guarantee you that there will be no shortage of this kind of webeti who only read the title and perhaps the subtitle. Not just because i webeti they never die, but why if he had also been shot in the forehead, you can be sure that the bullet would ricochet to go and kill a poor innocent who passed by on the street.

But this is the logic with which for decades, starting with the law on the legalization of abortion, the Italians were drugged by that Mephistophelian party known as the Radical Party, whose emotional logic is known: why force a poor woman to risk her life under the knife of a mummy, while the rich ladies go to have an abortion in Switzerland? Yup, but the members of the Mephistophelian party, at the head of all Marco Pannella and Emma Bonino great pontifical Italian, they never answered a fundamental question: and who would it be that forces both the poor girl and the rich lady to kill an innocent human being? We have been able to legalize abortion, we are in the process of legalizing euthanasia, we have made gambling a state monopoly and we are unable to crush tax evasion, prostitution, drug dealing and criminal circles of various kinds because according to some, electronic money would be a violation of individual freedoms and a control exercised on citizens much worse than that of George Orwell's Big Brother? But we are truly a society of schizophrenics borderline!

A subject opposed to electronic money he said in a stupidly provocative tone: «And you priests, how would you take offerings for churches, for charitable activities, for the celebration of Holy Masses and so on?». I replied: "Simple, with electronic money. On the contrary, it would be more convenient and practical than the small change that those large lice of many faithful put in the offering basket, forcing us to change a few kilos of coins into a few pieces of paper 5, 10, 20 cents". And I went on to explain that for us priests, members of a religious group recognized by the State as an institution of public law, electronic money, for offers and more, it wouldn't be a problem at all, rather a great and practical convenience. If anything, it would be a problem for the Casamonica family who also manage the begging tour in the capital of Italy. Or can someone imagine a petulant gypsy - or if we prefer the politically correct language a Roma - annoying passersby by asking for money with the pos at your fingertips for ATM and credit card transactions? In our churches we could easily install an electronic mechanism for the payment and collection of offerings, such as those found in all centers and places where payments can be made self-service. But we are a body of public law, not the begging circuit run by the Casamonica clan, we are neither fences nor drug traffickers.

Yet our glorious Republic the system for charging taxes has found it. All in all it is an older system than one might imagine: the game of the lotto, that at the dawn of the Unification of Italy a great statesman, Count Camillo Benso of Cavour, called "the tax of fools". An amount that ironically corresponds to what Istat indicates as the volume of tax evasion in our country, equal to 110 billion euros. The great nineteenth-century statesman was therefore right when he referred to the lot as "the tax of fools". In retrospect I add: the Italian feels so smart and entitled to evade taxes, up to not paying those taxes useful to keep the system of our welfare state in place. But at the same time she is so stupid as to run to the lottery office to pay the "tax of fools", placing himself in front of everyone on the bar table with a coin in hand to scrape one ticket after another by scratch&Vinci.

To gambling addiction in relation to Catholic morality years ago I dedicated a lecture at the request and invitation of the friends of the Lions Club. In our parishes and Caritas centers there are many people who come to ask for help for basic necessities, or because about to see the light or gas cut off, after squandering salaries and pensions in legalized gambling. To many of my brothers with a tender heart who have repeatedly told me “how can you not help them?», I replied that giving any kind of help to someone with gambling addiction is like buying drugs for a drug addict in withdrawal, how to pay a prostitute's services to a sex addict. It is not charity, but pure unconsciousness. Above all it is evil that is added to the much evil that these subjects bring to themselves and their families. Affected by gambling addiction, after having bled to death for having paid "the tax of fools", it must be said in a severe tone and almost always with an ugly face: that you also turn off the light or the gas, that you also have difficulty shopping and eating, I do not care and must not care, least of all take pity. The only help I can give you and which in conscience I am required to give you, is to refer you to a good psychiatrist who can cure you of this dangerous addiction.

It is a huge sadness see elderly retirees come out of tobacconists with scratch lines&win and then go shortly after to the Caritas center to ask for some shopping. Equally sad to see lines of people, young and old, including many fathers and mothers of families, burning sums of money for unlikely number systems, while the mega billboard shows the stratospheric sum of the prize pool written in large letters, which as of today is equal to 259.600.000 Euro. Figure in front of which tax evaders suffering from gambling addiction who justify their frauds to the state by taking shelter behind the finger of "I don't pay politicians' wages with my taxes", they don't even realize that taxes are paying them the worst way, like perfect fools, coupon behind coupon, scratch cards&win by scratch&Vinci. In addition to the fact that the much recriminated salary of politicians, in the pockets of the general state budget is equivalent to a few euros in our pockets, although it has always been the excuse and the ridiculous finger behind which small and large tax evaders shelter.

If the prize pool has reached that figure, some have wondered how much is the far greater sum raised with the bets by the State Monopolies? It is not easy to live in a country where abortion is considered "an acquired right" and a "great social achievement", where it is believed that euthanasia is "an act of humanity towards a poor terminally ill person", where the state makes money on gambling, to which on the one hand it instigates, on the other hand, it invites us to be cautious because "gambling can be addictive". But, a traceable electronic money that would deal a fatal blow to organized crime, to drug dealing, to prostitution, to illegal work, tax evasion and so on to follow, that no, because it would be a serious injury to personal freedoms.

The Italian People has a very strange concept of "right" and "freedom", instigated as he is to scratch in the hope of winning, with a state that puts its conscience at peace by warning that "gambling can be addictive" and that it will soon give us euthanasia, same-sex marriage, the possibility of adopting children for gay and lesbian couples, free drugs and many other wonderful rights linked to genuine aberrations transformed into good according to the law.

The story of the Ambrosian priest Mattia Bernasconi and his idea of ​​celebrating Holy Mass at sea, as I have already dealt with in the past in my previous articles [see who, who, who], showed very well the level of weakness of the The sense of Faith circulating today among the clergy and the faithful. On the contrary, precisely because the clergy are the first to be deficient in The meaning of Faithi, of Tradition and knowledge of the Magisterium, the faithful feel entitled to behave accordingly, distilling their faith within a creed that is the result of an emotional drive and corporate solidarity.

By the grace of God, after some time of inexplicable silence, the Archbishop of Milan has his say and says it with the authority of a pastor whose purpose is to defend the People of God entrusted to him against the shipwrecks of faith and sound doctrine. In spite of all those beautiful souls who for some time have defended the horrendous antics of putting into the sea with the sword, complaining of stiffness, ignorance and judgment all those who - including us priests - have had to say and have reacted ... because you know, in the Church there are other problems, the important things are certainly not these. Poor us!

Just take an excerpt from the press release of the Ambrosian prelate [see who] to understand how much this Brother was wrong, so much so that he forced his bishop to such expressions:

Ignorant clergy leads to the consequence of an ignorant laity, in the etymological sense of the term. It is not only a problem of dogmatic theology that informs liturgical and pastoral theology but above all of an immersion in that dimension of mystery which touches the very heart of God and constitutes its spiritual texture..

All the sacred mysteries, in the first place The holy Mass, they allow man to touch the action of the Holy Spirit in his own creaturality, working out salvation. If we don't allow the Holy Spirit to speak to us through the sacred mysteries, nobody will. The spirit of the world is unable to reinvigorate the withered bones of a God-forgetful life [cf.. This 37,1-14], it distorts everything in disordered emotionality, in do it yourself compulsive and sectarian solidarity, all things that cannot find a justification in the Church, especially when you push yourself to the limit of sacrilege.

There is also a letter from a certain Don Paolo, entitled: "The mattress of the scandal and the Catholic dinosaurs", whose contents are comparable to those learned during a course online in theology, whose dogmatic teacher is the magician Oronzo. I am not here to open any debate on these expressions that speak for themselves and that, as I said earlier, they are just a mixture of emotionality and corporate solidarity. but yet, the tragic nature of a non-existent Eucharistic faith is evident and leaps to the eye, the lack of understanding for the violation of the mystery of the Most Holy Body and Blood of the Lord combined with a luciferian denial of sin that nullifies any possibility of recovery of the offender and of recognition and expiation of the guilt. In short, to hear these testimonies, Mattia Bernasconi is more devoted to the Eucharist than Saint Pasquale Baylon, patron of Eucharistic congresses.

My intent with this further article on the subject is to publicly reiterate to the Presbyterian Confreres and to the Venerable Bishops that our faithful have completely lost the sense of the real presence of Christ in the Eucharist. Just as they have lost the meaning of the Eucharistic celebration of Mass as a bloodless memorial of the sacrifice of Calvary. And this is because of us priests! Definitely, if we still want to save the least that can still be saved, we must start afresh from the Eucharist, both as a mystery revealed by the Lord Jesus and as theological understanding and reflection within the Magisterium of the Church. Start from the basics, starting with children, educating their hearts to know how to see Jesus, to be with him in the Sacrament. My experience as a priest of the Order of the Capuchin Friars Minor, for years chaplain in a large hospital, today parish priest of a parish annexed to our Sardinian convent in Laconi, is the one that tells me that children easily fall in love with the Sacrament of the altar if we adults know how to provide them with the bare minimum to understand its mystery and the dignity of greatness. In my opinion, the concepts of faith in the Christian faithful should not be burdened and multiplied if they are not yet able to assimilate its essentials. The Eucharistic presence of Christ adored and proclaimed real in the celebration of the Holy Mass becomes the hyphen that allows me, at a later time, to have a more dilated and pure look, almost mystical, to see the Lord present in the poor, in the sick and in all the brothers I will meet.

The hours of Eucharistic adoration, which in parishes are increasingly disappearing, they represent the real training ground in which to recognize the living Jesus. A Christian who does not worship and praise is a weak Christian. A priest who in his spiritual life does not feel the need to stand before Jesus in the sacrament is a bureaucrat and if he is also in the care of souls and does not peel his knees in front of the tabernacle he endangers his apostolic mission, his spiritual health and weakens the flock entrusted to him.

If we were to observe the awareness of the presence of the Lord in most of the faithful who cross the entrance of a church, we will see some good ones: how many of them enter with decorous and not skimpy clothes? How many turn off their mobile phones or silence it out of respect for the Blessed Eucharist and out of respect for those present who are already in prayer? How many look for the red lamp that signals that the church is inhabited by the Eucharistic presence of the living Christ? How many kneel, once you get to the counter, and recite the prayers of praise and reverence to the Holy Eucharist like those taught by the holy doctor Alfonso Maria de 'Liguori or say a heartfelt "May the Most Holy and Divine Sacrament be praised and thanked every moment" ending everything with a doxology? How many of those who enter the church, they hurry to seek the comfort of the person of Christ in the tabernacle instead of hurrying to look for the wooden or plaster statue of the saint on duty, not understanding the substantial difference between simulacrum and real presence, between the worship of latria, dulia and iperdulia?

And this could be just the beginning of a long collective examination of conscience that involves the faithful and priests together. We can go further by analyzing the Holy Mass: those who arrive on time so that the celebration can begin with the entrance song and end it with the final song? How many are the faithful still convinced that the Holy Mass is valid if it has arrived at least before the proclamation of the Holy Gospel? How many, during the consecration and elevation, they know how to look at the Body of Christ in the white host and the chalice with wine, Blood of the Lord? How many still firmly argue that to receive communion at Holy Mass just one Act of Pain without the need for any prior sacramental confession, even if you are aware of having failed to some commandment? How many are convinced that to receive sacramental Communion the only passionate desire that makes people say "I felt like taking the Eucharist" forgetting a Christian life that excludes habitual sin, the conditions of moral disorder and the impediments of conscience that would need a profound healing? How many are the faithful who present themselves to receive Communion from the priest only for baptisms, weddings and funerals, thinking that that communion thrown there is a duty due to etiquette and not as a response of faith? How many still go to Communion with candy or chewing gum in their mouths? How many still approach with contempt and derision, with no awareness of who you are going to receive? How many challenge the Church and the priest who distributes the Eucharist considering Communion as a proper acquired right? How many public advocates or defenders of positions such as abortion, l'euthanasia, divorce, coexistence, drug use, marriages outside the natural law, war and all those cases in which division abounds, hostility and oppression of the weakest today approach Communion with evident sacrilege?

It seems normal to you affirm that, after all these inconsistencies, we can still believe in a serious and mature way in the real presence of Christ in the Eucharist? The marine mass of Crotone is the tip of theiceberg of a pathological sacramental malaise that is affecting everyone.

And when you point out this incompatibility, even with force, immediately you become one who judges, a betraying Judas or an anachronistic Catholic "dinosaur". Today these accusations become the most immediate way to discredit the adversary and defuse the goad towards the sanctity that is required of those who want to cross the narrow door [LC 13,24]. With this antidote, the prosecution charge, we get rid of any bigot, just as in politics the word fascist is used and in the LGBT community the word homophobia to silence opposing dissent.

As a Capuchin friar I would have a good game in reminding everyone of the position, in relation to the Holy Mass, by Padre Pio of Pietrelcina. His, stigmatized priest, to each Eucharist that he celebrated or attended he relived on his flesh and in his soul the terrible pangs of the passion of the Lord Jesus with vivid realism. In the letter of the 7 April 1913, Padre Pio wrote to his spiritual director Padre Agostino da San Marco in Lamis describing the mystical experience he had been a spectator of, where the weeping Lord Jesus complains of his priests calling them "butchers" precisely in relation to the celebration of the divine sacrifice and the provisions with which it was celebrated. I wanted to cite an example dear and close to me, but I could go on to list other saints such as Blessed Carlo Acutis, eg, and other memorable pages in the history of the Church in which the importance of the celebration of the Eucharist and the Body of the Lord is reaffirmed.

Dear Brothers in the Priesthood and Venerable Bishops, I consider true and right the ministerial duty to affirm that when the limit of decency is exceeded in such a clear way with regard to the Most Holy Eucharist and the Holy Mass, as happened in Crotone, it takes the right indignation, the due reparation and the courage of fatherhood. Yup, knowing how to use virile paternity with immediacy and authority, that neither the Archbishop of Milan nor that of Crotone have been able to do immediately. As he said in 1972 the Venerable Father Divo Barsotti preaching the spiritual exercises to the Roman Curia under the invitation of Paul VI:

"The Church has been endowed by God with a coercive power that she must exercise if necessary because if she does not exercise it, both the charity and the mandate that Christ has given her are lost".

And as a father in front of the son who is wrong he does not strive with firmness and mercy, as we read in Hebrews [cf.. 12,5-11], so that this is repentant and not lost? Because it is from the correction that underlines the error that the charity is born that recovers the one who makes mistakes and surrounds him with mercy. For this reason we must not be afraid to affirm with the words of the Catechism of the Catholic Church that:

"Our Savior at the Last Supper, the night he was betrayed, he instituted the Eucharistic sacrifice of his Body and Blood, with which to perpetuate over the centuries, until his return, the sacrifice of the cross, and to entrust thus to his beloved Bride, the church, the memorial of his death and resurrection: sacrament of piety, sign of unity, bond of charity, Easter banquet, in which Christ is received, the soul is filled with grace and the pledge of future glory is given " (See. CCC n.1323).

Who helps us in this understanding of the Eucharistic mystery are our priests who are not masters but servants without ulterior motives:

“They exercise their sacred function in the Eucharistic cult or assembly, where is that, acting in the person of Christ and proclaiming his mystery, they unite the vows of the faithful to the sacrifice of their Head and in the sacrifice of the Mass they make present and apply, until the coming of the Lord, the only sacrifice of the New Testament, that is, the sacrifice of Christ, who once and for all offers himself to the Father as an immaculate victim. From this one sacrifice all their priestly ministry draws its strength " [cf.. CCC n.1566].

In the daily liturgical diakonia at the service of the altar made up of gestures, rites, signs and symbols, the priests, they celebrate the Eucharist in which the Lord renews his Easter redemption from sin and death in favor of man. This ritual language needs an appropriate space, that it is worthy of the greatness of the mystery that is celebrated in it. Therefore the Holy Mass:

«Let it be done in the sacred place, unless in a particular case necessity requires nothing else; in which case, the celebration must take place in a decent place " [cf.. Sacramentum n. 108 and Code of Canon Law, Can. 932 § 1; cf.. S. Congress. for the Cult Div., Istr., Liturgical establishments, n. 9: AAS 62 (1970) p. 701].

Like this, celebrating with lively faith and in a worthy way the Holy Mass, the priest and with him the Church, realizes what St. Ambrose Bishop of Milan says about the real presence of the Body of the Lord:

«This bread is bread before the sacramental words; ma, intervening the consecration, the bread becomes Christ's flesh […] From which words the consecration is made and whose are these words? Of the Lord Jesus! All the things that are said before that moment are said by the priest who praises God, pray for the people, for kings and for others; but when it comes to fulfilling the venerable sacrament, the priest no longer uses his words, but of Christ. It is therefore the word that operates (traverses) the sacrament […] See how effective it is (operator) speaking of Christ? Before the consecration there was no Body of Christ, but after the consecration, I tell you that the body of Christ is now there. He said and it was done, he commanded and was created (cf Shall 33, 9)» [See. Ambrogio, Of the sacraments, IV, 14-16 (PL 16, 439 ss].

With the last and definitive word of the Archbishop of Milan, on the story of the Mass of Crotone, we are moving towards the end of the summer 2022. Summer is ending, the Righeira Brothers sang in 1985, for us it would be enough that these liturgical and dogmatic oddities were to end, with the hope that in this period the bishops will be a little closer to the priests and a little less to the polls and politicians, since we still believe that Christ is the one and only Redeemer of humanity.

The 5 September 2022 five years will have passed since the death of Cardinal Carlo Caffarra, Metropolitan Archbishop of Bologna, who was one of the world's foremost experts in the doctrine of marriage and the family, of which our Father Ariel S. Levi di Gualdo was a friend, later discreet and confidential private collaborator between the 2015 and the 2017.

The objective ambiguities of the Post-Synodal Apostolic Exhortation love joy given by the Supreme Pontiff Francis after the closing of the Synod on the family, many bishops have touched very deeply, presbyters and theologians reduced today more and more to silence, as can sometimes happen when one is too open, too much dialogue, too synodal and above all too merciful.

I know that you are not emotional and that you proceed with speculative rigor, but these qualities of yours are not common to others, and at this moment the minds are too hot.

Many simple people and in good faith they turned to the Fathers de The Island of Patmos to ask about the work of Maria Valtorta and to inform us that it has been recommended for reading by various priests, some of which use the texts of this imaginative author in their catechesis. Very serious thing, because a pastor in the care of souls cannot ignore that these are writings repeatedly condemned and advised against by the Church. Any priest who uses them or who advises them in reading bears the responsibility of administering poison to the People of God.

My free judgment as a scholar on Maria Valtorta it has always been bad. For little worth I consider this Author affected by bizarre mysticism and narcissistic megalomania. A free judgment based on the absurdities of what today is known and seriously improperly indicated as "The Gospel of Maria Valtorta".

Contrary to those who elevate their own opinions and the subjective feeling to intangible truths of the faith, for my setting and theological training, juridical and ecclesial, when I express free opinions I always specify that they are such and that as such they leave the time they find. Unless it announces truths of faith, making me the voice and faithful instrument of the Church which has given me the mandate to do so by the sacrament of grace, thus fulfilling a duty from which I cannot and must not shirk. In the event to, to the "boarding Catholic" who begins by saying "... I disagree, because in my opinion… I believe that… »I am obliged to reply that he is in grave error, not because I'm right, but because I announced what the Church teaches, clarifying what are his judgments given, before which no believer who is truly such can reply: "… I do not agree, because in my opinion ... I believe that ... ". No single priest and no faithful Catholic can and never should dare to declare authentic what the Church has declared false or impudently say to believe in what the Church has clearly said that one must not believe or give faith. therefore I repeat: it is very serious that priests disseminate and transmit the writings of Maria Valtorta in open disobedience to the decisive and negative judgments given by the Church on this work of fantasy, presenting them as authentic and as edifying works for the spirit of believers.

Like it or not to certain passionaries, declare to the Catholic faithful that Maria Valtorta's is not a work of mysticism and spirituality but a colossal hoax containing serious doctrinal deviations that damage the faith, a vision at times even grotesque of Divine Revelation and Mariology, it is not a free and subjective personal opinion, but the judgment of the Church, to whom I am bound to pay obedient respect and which as a presbyter and theologian I am bound to transmit to the People of God, inviting him to listen and respect the judgment that the Ecclesiastical Authority has given.

Clarify yourself these fundamental elements, not always easy to make understood by those who live the experience of faith in an immature way, subjective and emotional, I now let the documents through which the Ecclesiastical Authority has expressed itself over time on the work of Maria Valtorta speak.. A LIFE OF JESUS ​​BADLY FAMILIAR

In another part of our Journal there is the Decree of the Holy Office with which a work in four volumes is put on the Index, by anonymous author (at least in this print) published on the Isola del Liri. While dealing exclusively with religious topics, said volumes have no imprimatur, as required by Can. 1385, 1 n.2 of the Code of Canon Law. The Publisher, in which a short preface, writes that the Author "in the likeness of Dante gave us a work in which, framed by splendid descriptions of times and places, countless characters present themselves and turn their cake to us, the strong, or admonishing word. The result was a humble and impressive work: the literary homage of a grieving sick person to the Great Comforter Jesus ". Instead, to an attentive reader these volumes appear to be nothing more than a long prolix fictional life of Jesus.

Apart from the vanity of the approach to Dante and despite his illustrious personalities (whose undoubted good faith was surprised) have given their support to the publication, the Holy Office believed it necessary to put it in the Index of Prohibited Books. The reasons are easily identifiable by those who have the painstaking patience to read the almost four thousand pages of dense print. First of all, the reader is struck by the length of the speeches attributed to Jesus and the Blessed Virgin; by the interminable dialogues between the many characters that populate those pages.

The four Gospels present us the humble Jesus, Reserved; his speeches are meager, incisors, but of maximum effectiveness. Instead, in this kind of fictional story, Jesus is talkative at best, like a protester, always ready to proclaim himself Messiah and Son of God and to give theology lessons with the same terms that a professor of our day would use. In the story of the Gospels we admire the humility and silence of the Mother of Jesus; instead for the author (or the author) the Blessed Virgin has the faculty of a modern propagandist of this work, it is always present everywhere, she is always ready to give lessons in Marian theology, up-to-date up to the latest studies by current specialists on the subject.

The story unfolds slowly, almost gossip; we find new facts there, new parables, new characters and many, many, women following Jesus. A few pages, then, they are rather rough and recall certain descriptions and certain scenes from modern novels, come, to give just a few examples, the confession made to Maria by a certain Aglae, woman of bad habits (cf.. vol. I, p. 790 SS.), the unedifying story on p. 887 ss. of I vol., a ballet performed, certainly not modestly, before Pilate, in the Praetorium (cf.. vol. IV, p. 75), etc…

At this point it comes, spontaneous a particular reflection: The Work by its nature and in accordance with the intentions of the Author and Publisher, it could easily reach the hands of the religious and the pupils of their colleges. In this case, reading of such passages, like those mentioned, it could hardly be accomplished without danger or spiritual harm. Bible studies specialists will certainly find many historical blunders there, geographic and the like. But being a … novel, these inventions evidently increase the picturesque and the fantastic of the book. Ma, in the midst of so much ostentatious theological culture, you can take some … pearls that certainly do not shine for Catholic orthodoxy. Here and there it expresses itself, about the sin of Adam and Eve, a rather strange and inaccurate opinion. In vol. I a page. 63 this title reads: "Mary can be called the second child of the Father". Statement repeated in the text on the next page. The explanation limits its meaning, avoiding an authentic heresy; but it does not remove the well-founded impression that a new Mariology is being built, that easily crosses the limits of convenience.

In the II vol. Pag. 772 it is read: «Heaven is Light, perfume and harmony. But if the Father did not bathe in it, in contemplating the All Beautiful that makes the Earth a paradise, but if in the future Paradise should not have the living Lily in whose bosom are the Three pistils of fire of the divine Trinity, luce, scent, harmony, the joy of Heaven would be crippled by half ". Here a hermetic and very confused concept is expressed, Fortunately; because if you were to take it literally, it would not save itself from severe censorship.

Finally, mention of another strange and imprecise statement, in which it is said of the Madonna: «Tu, in the time you stay on Earth, second to Peter as an ecclesiastical hierarchy …».

The Opera, so, it would have deserved a sentence even if it had only been a novel, if only for reasons of irreverence. But in reality the author's intention demands more. Scrolling through the volumes, here and there we read the words «Jesus says…», «Maria says…»; or: "I see…" and similar. On the contrary, towards the end of the fourth volume (pag. 839) the author turns out to be an author and writes that he is a witness of all messianic time and that he is called Mary. These words make you remember that, about ten years ago, some voluminous typescripts were circulating, which contained pretended visions and revelations. It is known that at the time the competent Ecclesiastical Authority had prohibited the printing of these typescripts and had ordered that they be withdrawn from circulation.. Now we see them reproduced almost entirely in the present Work. Therefore this public condemnation of the Supreme Sacred Congregation is all the more timely, because of grave disobedience.

With the dogmatic bull the generous Pope Pius XII proclaimed November 1st 1950 the dogma of the Assumption into heaven of the Blessed Virgin Mary, whose solemn feast is celebrated on 15 August. On this occasion, I offer a theological reflection to all those who clamor for the proclamation of the dogma of Mary Co-redemptrix, starting from a question: It is more serious challenge and deconstruct the tenets of the Holy Catholic Faith, or more serious to proclaim new dogmas? Undoubtedly it is more serious the second thing, who, making mistakes and sowing confusion among the People of God, question the dogmas through rereading and reinterpretation, until reaching to their de-construction, it is not said to be animated by malicious intentions, all of this can also be the result of that bad theological formation that has been passed on for over half a century to generations of priests and theologians. Many are my confreres who came out of our disastrous seminaries as priests and drank the best of the heterodoxies taught in ecclesiastical universities., they are really convinced that bad is good, that the defect is virtues, that heresy and orthodoxy is that Orthodoxy is heresy. Not a few, induced to think, they have come to admit that they have received bad theological training and bad priesthood training, almost always trying with effort and sacrifice to remedy it. Those who admit any of this ever, despite their disturbing gaps, we are seeing them become bishops one after the other.

Who proclaims dogmas that do not exist It accomplishes a greater error, because it operates by placing itself above the authority of the same Holy Church Mater et Magistra, holder of an authority that derives from Christ himself. And the latter yes, which is a dogma of the Catholic Faith, which has not come to logical deduction, but on the basis of clear and precise words pronounced by the Word of God made Man (cf.. Mt 13, 16-20). And when dogmas are proclaimed that do not exist and cannot exist, in that case we are in the diabolical, because pride enters the scene in its worst manifestation: intellectual pride. I wrote and explained it previously but it deserves to repeat it again: in the so-called scale of the deadly sins the Catechism of the Catholic Church indicates pride in the first place, with the painful peace of those who persist in concentrating in lust - which we remember does not figure in the first place at all, but not even to the second, to the third and fourth - the whole mystery of evil, regardless of the fact that the worst sins ranging everyone and rigor from his belt to rise, not instead of his belt to fall, as in an ironic but theologically very serious tone I wrote years ago [See Catechism n. 1866].

I therefore start with an example having by object the so-called Usual Noti, those who just hear the sound of magic of the Latins they lose all sense of reason and any kind of critical sense, with the consequent total distortion of the objective reality. Here then S. AND. Mons. Mario Oliveri, Bishop emeritus of Albenga, defensively to say he was by no means removed from his episcopal see as responsible - partly even involuntary -, for having reduced a diocese to an authentic brothel, to a collection center for overt homosexuals thrown out for serious moral problems by one or even more seminaries, up to find themselves with a considerable number of uncontrollable priests dedicated to every kind of vice and patrimonial deception useful for the maintenance of their vices. None of this jumps in the slightest in the eyes of the Usual Notes, who undeterred and obstinate continue to affirm and write that the poor prelate was persecuted from the "modernist Church" because he loved the The old rite of the Mass, used jeweled mitres seventy centimeters high and giving out Holy Communion all'inginocchiatoio under the canopy supported by knights frac.

Just as it happened - the Usual Notes say -, to the members of the Congregation of the Franciscan Friars, not only punished according to them for organizing conferences criticism of Karl Rahner, to have shown the danger of Modernism and Freemasonry; but persecuted above all because they too celebrated - needless to say - col The old rite of the Mass.

On the columns of our magazine The Island of Patmos the Dominican pontifical academician Giovanni Cavalcoli and myself, later the Capuchin theologian Ivano Liguori and the Dominican theologian Gabriele Giordano M. Scardocci we have written over the years about Karl Rahner, on Modernism and the Modernists, and so on Freemasonry, in very critical and harsh tones. We didn't even just shoot in bursts, we have just fired repeated heavy mortar rounds, with a much higher severity than that used in past conferences promoted by the Franciscans of the Immaculate Conception. You should therefore ask you: because they haven't got us any police stations yet? Because, despite having harshly accused Karl Rahner indicating him as the originating source all the returning heresies that invade the Church today, seminaries and pontifical universities, no ecclesiastical authority has ever given us any sighs and least of all recalls?

When a few years ago I had a talk with one of the most distinguished Mariologists of the Franciscan Friars of the Immaculate Conception, I was very impressed by his madonnolatric fanaticism, to follow from his pride, because he already took the dogma of Maria Coredemptrix for proclamation. As a result, within that congregation, the never proclaimed dogma of Maria Coredemptrix was in fact already written in deposit of faith with a lot of theology and cult promoted and spread. All in the complete indifference that all the Popes of the twentieth century, including those particularly devoted to the Blessed Virgin Mary, even if pleaded several times to this effect they never wanted to consider the possible proclamation of this new Marian dogma. Among these it is enough to mention the Holy Pontiff Pius X, the Venerable Pope Pius XII, the Holy Pontiff Paul VI and the Holy Pontiff John Paul II who wanted the emblem of the Blessed Virgin to be engraved on their papal coat of arms, he was so devoted to Mater Dei, finally the Venerable Pontiff Benedict XVI, who in his capacity as theologian explained and clarified with the timid meekness - perhaps even excessive - that has always characterized him, that the very term "co-redemptrix" created problems on the theological level with Christology.

The reigning Pope - who is not shy and meek - he expressed himself three times [1] on this issue reiterating a dry and decisive no:

«Our Lady did not want to take away any title from Jesus; she received the gift of being His Mother and the duty to accompany us as a Mother, to be our Mother. He did not ask for himself to be quasi-redeeming or to be co-redeeming: no. The Redeemer is one and this title is not doubled " [2].

The reaction of the more radical Usual Notes it was not long in coming: they accused the Supreme Pontiff of being a blasphemer and a blasphemer (!?). All the more reason it is good to clarify: if questioning the dogma of the immaculate conception and the assumption into heaven of the Blessed Virgin Mary is wrong and heretical, on the other hand, promulgate the dogma of Mary the co-redemptrix and act accordingly, up to disseminate so impudent theology, it is far more serious. Then, if in the face of these and other things the Holy See intervenes at a certain point, it is useless to cry out «to the persecution of The old rite of the Mass!». Because if we want to be objective and apply first of all criteria of aequitas together with the sense of proportion, in a completely reasonable way we can say that before the ax was lowered on the poor Franciscans of the Immaculate Conception, the Jesuits were severely hit and together with them various other historical orders and congregations with much more serious internal problems, but mainly responsible for spreading for decades in a dangerous way - as in the case of the Jesuits -, a patently non-Catholic thought. This is something the Franciscans of the Immaculate Conception cannot be accused of. If indeed these young and simple fratacchioni raised by Father Stefano Maria Manelli they erred, this happened largely in good faith and also out of not a little ignorance, undoubtedly animated by the best intentions inner and outer, by love for truth and authentic veneration of the Holy Church of Christ.

The Jesuits and members of other religious groups that spread the worst destructive theologies, they can be harshly criticized for the way they de-construct or update the dogmas of the faith, but the Franciscans of the Immaculate Conception who proclaimed a Marian dogma in concrete facts, giving it as existing and instituting the cult of Mary Co-redemptrix, on the theological level they have committed a much graver error, thus replacing the highest and supreme authority of the Church. And don't object, as do the total fasts of theology which presume for this reason to be able to dissert in the most delicate spheres of dogmatics: «… But St. Louis Marie Grignion de Montfort in his Treatise on True Devotion wrote that ... but Our Lady of Amsterdam in a private revelation asked that ... this mystic and this visionary said that in a private revelation the Madonna asked him that ... ".

The Blessed Virgin Mary would have asked to be proclaimed co-redemptrix with a fifth Marian dogma? We smile so as not to cry over certain nonsense that make some subjects quite arrogant and difficult to manage for us priests and for us theologians, precisely because their arrogance goes hand in hand with their ignorance. Yet the answer is simple: someone is willing to believe that the Blessed Virgin who defined herself as humble servant, the woman of gifted love, silence and confidentiality, the one who has the purpose of leading to Christ, can really ask seers or devalued visionaries to be proclaimed co-redemptrix and put almost on a par with the Divine Redeemer?

The very term of co-redemptrix it is in and of itself a solemn theological idiocy that creates enormous conflicts with Christology and the mystery of the redemption brought about solely by God the incarnate Word, which does not need co-redeemers and co-redeemers. The mystery of redemption is one with the mystery of the cross, on which God made man died as a sacrificial lamb. On the cross the Blessed Virgin Mary was not nailed to death like a sacrificial lamb, that at the end of her life she fell asleep and was assumed into heaven, she did not die and rose again on the third day, defeating death. The Blessed Virgin, first creature of the whole creation above all the saints for its immaculate purity, he does not forgive our sins and does not redeem us, he intercedes for the remission of our sins and for our redemption. When we turn to her through prayer, both in the Ave Maria than in Hi Regina of always, throughout the history and tradition of the Church, we invoke her saying "pray for us sinners", we do not ask her to forgive our sins or to save us.

This should be enough to close a discourse which cannot be proposed on the theological level such as that of Mary co-redemptrix. An authentic theological idiocy which only the ignorant arrogant and the madonnolatri unaware of what true devotion to the Blessed Virgin is can feed on, but above all what is the true role entrusted by God to Full of Grace in the economy of salvation.

Dear readers of The island of Patmos,

.

In Gospel of this XVIII Sunday Ordinary Time, Jesus condemns greed or avarice, hence the immoderate accumulation of goods. A theme that may seem far from us small and medium-sized workers. Accumulation is not just about goods and treasures related to money or property. This was Jordan Belfort's experience, broker and financial entrepreneur, whose story was also told in the film 2013, The Wolf of Wall Street. At the beginning of his career he began with fraudulent investments and earnings, with an increasingly messy and flawed attachment to money. This will lead him to completely destroy his life by reducing him to drug addiction and the destruction of his friends and loved ones, up to prison.

Today Jesus wants to offer us this teaching, he clearly says it in this pericope:

.

“Be careful and keep away from all covetousness because, even if one is in abundance, his life does not depend on what he possesses".

.

The life of each of us does not depend on good money. But it depends on the primary and essential good which is God. It is He who, if we trust, he gives us all the other goods and the means to reach the ultimate goal: Holiness and the eternal encounter with Him in Paradise. To clarify this, the Lord tells the parable of the rich man and his countryside. Here it calls again to the real dependence we have on God, that decides our life and our death. But even more: in this parable Jesus says a much stronger phrase, taking up the ending of his narration:

“But God said to the rich farmer: "Fool, this very night your life will be demanded of you. And what you have prepared, whose it will be?”. So it is with those who accumulate treasures for themselves and are not enriched with God".

.

True wealth to which we are all called is then the wealth in God. A wealth that does not accumulate by shopping on Amazon, playing on the stock market, or buying real estate. It is the wealth of those who truly have and are filled with the presence and grace of God.

.

Jesus does not ask us to live as miserable, like poor people looking for a pauperistic form in which misery is our aim. He asks us to relocate all goods to obtain the richness of the Presence of God, which today you can get as a free gift, especially in the Sacraments and the Eucharist. A spiritual wealth that is obtained by free gift, when we grow in prayer and meditation: this is the treasure of the doctrine taught by Jesus which leads our every life. Got all this then, the Lord will not let us lack other material goods as well.

The Roman author Pubblio Sirio wrote, in its Judgments: “Poverty is lacking many things, to avarice all".

We ask the Lord to heal from the morbid attachment to all material and ephemeral realities, to learn to draw from the Trinitarian treasures of eternal life.

The German Synod, between Romanophobic Lutheranism and lesbian theologians who claim to overturn Catholic doctrine

The problem is not to say badly, as I am sometimes accused of doing, but tell them true. And when they are said to be true, one should overlook the strong way in which it is sometimes necessary to say them. Otherwise, the accusers will fall into Pharisaism, attaching itself to the form or the colorful word, to evade the substance and all the facts with which they do not want to deal, because it would involve taking responsibility and taking action.

As a priest I lived and studied in Germany and when we say the German Catholic Church, I think I know a little about what we are talking about. I wrote about it in alarmed tones in the now distant 2011 in my book And Satan became triune, narrating how advanced was the state of Protestantization of the Catholic Church in many regions of Northern Europe, stating that a de facto schism was in progress that only needed to be made official. I pointed out that a swollen river was coming down from Northern Europe and that it would soon overwhelm our local Churches as well, especially the Italian one, subject for over half a century to the worst German theological drifts, because everything that is not German is not worthy of being called theological on our homeland. For this thanks to the deceptions of the Jesuits of the Pontifical Gregorian University, loving grandchildren of Karl Rahner, which had inevitably on the Supreme Pontiff Paul VI - revealed in this naive - the Roman School was destroyed, whose center was the Pontifical Lateran University, with great and extraordinary theologians of the caliber of Pietro Parente, Antonio Piolanti, Pier Carlo Lad … all reduced to silence in the "glorious" period of the post-council dialogue in the 1970s. The last exponent of the Roman School was Antonio Livi (cf.. WHO). A decade later, Paul VI himself, he complained and feared that "the smoke of Satan has entered the temple of God through some crevice" (full text WHO). I wonder why, above all: who threw open the doors to him?

History teaches that the barbaric spirit always survives in the anthropological memory of the German people. He also teaches, the story, that the Germans cannot be patted on the little hand with a smile on their lips saying "bad guy this way you don't, otherwise mammina suffers ". They are beaten to death and left on the ground with broken bones after being humiliated. At that point they subside for the following decades. Then little by little they go back to pulling their heads up again, with the same spirit and the same arrogance. At that point, more healthy beats will be needed. Some might think that my talk is gratuitous and inappropriate violence. Never, it is simply prudent and legitimate defense of the European peoples. The pacifist candid souls fast to know, instead of tearing his clothes at the cry rainbows Of peace and love rather study history, because in this way they will understand all the reasons for my saying, starting from the price paid by Europe and the whole world for German psychology since the 1930s.

The Germans are the great pissed offs of Europe because in fact they have always been the big losers in the history of our Old Continent. Or it appears to anyone that they have ever won a war? At the end of the First World War they were humiliated at the negotiating table in Versailles. Years later they reared their heads with ominous deeds that produced consequences never seen before. At the end of the Second World War they found themselves with their country razed to the ground and reduced to starvation. As for today, I spread a merciful veil, because there would be a lot of talk about the human and moral sense of the "civilized" Germany in which no one would ever throw a cigarette butt in the garden of a public park, however, there are private clinics in which organs are transplanted whose origin is unknown, something that in uncivilized Italy could never happen, with the strict restrictive laws we have, but above all for that sense of humanity that has not yet completely abandoned us. Overflight on economic ethics, because this is not the place to discuss it, let's just say that Germany years ago gave China the ropes with which Europe will soon be hanged.

In the season of synodal drunkenness this phase has also begun in Germany, before the opening of which I said that the result would be attacks on Catholic doctrine and the deposit of faith that would make Martin Luther pale, let's not forget he was Catholic. Heretic, but Catholic. Most of the bishops, of German priests and faithful, Catholics have not been so for some time, they were not really born there and as such they were not formed and raised, while Luther did, lo fu. Those who are improperly defined as "German Catholics" are for the most part Christians who are much more affected by Luther and above all by Calvin, instead of the Magisterium of the Catholic Church.

Never open Pandora's boxes in Germany, because giving them a synod will end up producing the best of the worst of their never-dormant Romanophobic spirit.

.

Now the Holy See laments and publicly declares that the initiative underway in Germany "has no power to force bishops and faithful to new ways of governing and new approaches to doctrine and morals" [cf.. WHO]. For this he invites them to re-enter the ranks of the correct synodal path of the universal Church. In short: they hit his little hand with a smile on their lips saying "bad guys.", this is not done, otherwise mammina suffers ".

What the Holy See expected from such a jumble of subjects now self-styled Catholics? Obviously, the synod - as it immediately happened - would have been the pretext for throwing up against Rome by demanding everything about which it is not even allowed to open discussions and let alone carry them out.: abolition of priestly celibacy, priesthood to women, or at least the diaconate, derubrication of the sin of sodomy, blessing of gay couples, evaluation of particular cases in which abortion or euthanasia could be lawful, total openness to contraception and so on and so forth.

Applying certain logics we could question, vote by majority and abolish various precepts of the Holy Gospel, because, according to many, they no longer conform to the present times and the needs of the contemporary world. Exactly what tragic is happening with this local German Synod, where with all the worst arrogance a horde of sour feminists are allowing themselves to discuss what the Church just cannot discuss, because he has no authority to do so. Not only and not so much they demand the questioning of the legitimacy of the priesthood to women, blessings to gay and lesbian couples who decide to "get married" justifying everything with an unspecified “love”, because what they are actually claiming is that the Church declares that what it has hitherto considered mortal sin is in truth good, therefore that you declare that you have erred in retrograde spirit by making amends and not even opening the doors, but literally spreading the legs.

Then we want to add more, admitted it is lawful to say it clearly and truthfully without being overwhelmed by complaints from the radical circles LGBT? I note that the feminist theologians who for years have been setting fires and flames in the little Catholic that remains in various countries of Northern Europe, for the most part they are full-blown lesbians and many live with their partners. Only a double agent like Cardinal Reinhard Marx Metropolitan Archbishop of München - who until the first ten days of February of 2013 he was more Ratzingerian than Benedict XVI, except to become more Bergoglian than Francis I three months later - he could allow such tomboys to create disorder and disturbance within the German Church by giving them space, voice and a stage of release during a synod. But then it is known: if according to the theories of Sigmund Freud the woman suffers from unconscious envy of the male penis, the lesbian Teutonic theologian suffers from the envy of the priest.

So let's take some examples relevant and real: it is true that in the biblical narrative it is specified that God created them male and female (cf.. Gen 1, 26-28), but those were other times. Today, the needs of gay and lesbian couples who want to marry between man and man are quite different, between woman and woman, claiming the approval and blessing of the Church, or the triumphal baptism of babies purchased from so-called rented wombs, with all the gotha LGBT lined up in the church, not because he is interested in anything about Holy Baptism, but to exploit a sacrament for the sole purpose of demonstrating that he has bent Catholicism to its own moral disorders, or worse to their aberrations, as in the case of babies commissioned to so-called rented uteri. Since, however,, at the time, the Almighty Creator could not be updated, it will be appropriate that the precepts, the divine word and God himself are correct. Because God was wrong to create only male and female without foreseeing the other variants, likewise Jesus Christ was wrong to confer the priesthood only on men, rather, perhaps he was also a bit misogynist. But what kind of Almighty and Omniscient he is, this clumsy God the Creator so devoid of future prospects? Luckily there is a compact group of German lesbian theologians ready to correct him in the context of this Synod.

I know perfectly well that certain things I say and express them badly, however I say them true and without easy pain of denial. I just hope I don't get another lawsuit from some radical association LGBT, Why I already have one in progress at the competent Court. And neither the Holy See nor the Italian Episcopal Conference would ever give me a contribution towards my court costs, they are too busy investing money in welcoming Muslim migrants who then piss as a sign of contempt in the fonts of historic churches in Rome and who occasionally vandalize some around Italy.

Or maybe you don't know why from all the historic churches of Rome and beyond, they removed the holy water from the fonts? Covid-19 has nothing to do with it, they were already emptied a few years before the pandemic. Simple why: several Muslim migrant brothers were repeatedly filmed by surveillance cameras documenting everything. When it went well inside the fonts they washed our underpants and socks, others as a sign of gratitude for the loving welcome of our far-sighted Italian Episcopal Conference, they pissed directly into it.

I couldn't resist curiosity to go and look in the various social media in the last two days the story linked to Mattia Bernasconi, an Ambrosian presbyter. Well believe me, based on the results obtained, I've really seen all the colors: a finished and finished Court of Miracles, chock full of dwarfs and dancers, of convinced heretics, of confused believers, of avid censors, of public defenders and vilified virgins up to the purest justicialists and compulsive guarantors of Catholic doctrine. The same thing I could see by going to google on some search engines the case of the "Missa aquatica", as it was nicely renamed by the magazine The New Compass Daily.

So I decided to write some considerations regarding that I wish to share with the Readers de The Island of Patmos. Having had the opportunity to metabolize the whole story, putting her in prayer, I also had the time to identify myself in the person of the young Ambrosian presbyter Mattia Bernasconi who is worthy of blame yes, but not of media lynching. I am therefore convinced that today there is an obvious one, real and objective problematic in the theological formation of the clergy. Yup, dear Readers, the true wound it is not that of celibacy and the priestly pant, more or less visible indication of a promised but not kept chastity. The truth implies and also in the particular cases provided for by the Code of Canon Law, where the prerogative of sporadicity and not ordinariness is underlined [See. can. 932 §1 e 2 CIC in Commentary on the Code of Canon Law by Mons. Pio Vito Pinto, LEV, 2001 and Pastoral Legal Commentary on the Code of Canon Law by Luigi Chiappetta, EDB 2011], Eucharistic celebrations (even those on holidays and school camps) are celebrated in an appropriate manner, in well-kept places, decorous and respectful of the sacredness of the Paschal sacrifice of Christ which is celebrated therein.
