Dear Lorenzo, I wanted to read…..
I liked this “Its new way” to speak, changed in tone… calm and reasonable. I would intensify ” the fire” only on’ statement…… “Even if the Father loves his son immensely and is willing to forgive him everything without asking him for anything, until the son is herding the pigs, the Father's forgiveness does not change his life…..”. there, I find the sentence incomplete which I would have instead elaborated like this :……..”until the son persists’ to express FREE WILL to continue grazing pigs, forgiveness, always ready, of the Father will not be able to change his life”…
Moreover, at the point 3)”,” I find a certain approach to the situation that has arisen against Fr. Ariel, accused of slander and insults when it is clearly evident from the correspondence he made known to us, of having always defended himself without ever having offended first.
I pray to the Lord that you may benefit from our continuous prayers. Real godsend!!..
Dear Mrs Anna, if I, while still free to move, I'm sick but I continue to sit where I am without getting up to call a doctor, I express or don't express mine “FREE WILL” to continue feeling bad?
About the point 3, accusing a Catholic of not being aware of the basics of Catholic doctrine by stating that he ignores the fact that original sin is not a sin of lust, she doesn't think she's offended enough?
For those who want to read:
1. I used to get married in fights… when I am offended I respond in kind.
2. Even if the Father loves his son immensely and is willing to forgive him everything without asking him for anything, until the son is herding the pigs, the Father's forgiveness does not change his life: when the son decides to get up and return to the Father's house, the Father's forgiveness changes his life for free.
3. When I compare myself with some LGBT people, I usually discuss laws of nature and how their discomfort comes from themselves and their way of life; I'm never the first to start offending but I respond blow for blow: they threatened to report me several times but they always gave up when I pointed out that they were the first to start offending.
4. I thank you for the prayers and blessings which are always a godsend and I reciprocate.
Dearest father Ariel,
I have no difficulty in agreeing with his analysis. In the end you always have scruples probably caused by feelings of guilt that you haven't overcome. It is true that Christ condemns the sin and not the sinner. It is true that the sinner must be forgiven 70 times 7 therefore always. But after the hundredth time a person comes to her to confess the same sin, she never thinks that perhaps she is "sucking" us a little.?
If I remember correctly, the first Christian communities were not so light-hearted in their judgment of the sinner, after sin, contrition of heart was not enough and before being readmitted into the community he had to pass under the public gallows.
Probably my feelings of guilt arise from here ... masochism ? But it seems to me that even in the apostolic canons this path is spoken of.

Very sincerely said: to say nothing of anything else, I find it hard to forget (and to forgive) Mrs. Guadagno as the protagonist of what seemed to many to be a Eucharistic sacrilege, during the funeral of Don Farinella. I remember that she also wrote about it severely, also towards the officiating archbishop. Given the above, I am well aware that it is his precise priestly duty to seek out even the worst of sinners with concern and kindness. Best wishes for your ministry.
It was the funeral of the Genoese priest Andrea Gallo, while Paolo Farinella, also a Genoese priest, he is always alive.
The episode she narrated dates back to 2013.
In eight years many things can change in people, For better or for worse.
Dear Father Ariel when I spoke of martyrdom I was thinking, as you explained, of prison for those who do not want to bow to the lbgtq thought, abortionist and euthanasia, to ridicule and spitting as happened a few years ago due to the scandal of child abuse and not for which some priests and nuns feel nothing ‘ they entered with the abusers but that doesn't mean that I fear someone will lose their life,he will have read about the churches burned in Canada and whether anyone had been inside? As regards the situation of Latin American and African nuns, I know the problem, I can tell you my aunt does not allow them to come to Italy before several years after their entry and tends to make them stay in their homeland precisely for the reason she was talking about and because she is against the” trafficking of priests and nuns “. This is the reason why she is so sorry about the lack of Italian vocations because she and her congregation pay for their intellectual honesty with the closure of convents in Italy year after year.. Hence also my invitation to thank Heaven for the nuns who enter Africa and South America, let's say that they are vocations with the Doc mark as far as is humanly possible. Thanks for your kindness.
Thanks to her, Lucia's way.
We have given sad but necessary information to Catholic readers who must, rightly, learn about the difficult and sometimes tragic situations we experience.
Your aunt belongs to one of those congregations that have lucidly and realistically decided for the best. Unfortunately, not all of them act like this, because as you know, there is everything and unfortunately everything happens, as she herself recalled with full and real knowledge of the facts.
The genderismo.
In my opinion it represents the pinnacle of "anthropological desertion" and in this back cover of a book the concept "Henry Corbin is, without mincing words, an invaluable witness against our time and, although about forty years have now passed since his death and much more since the edition of his fundamental masterpieces, the strength of the powerful shoulder that this remains unchanged “philosopher” it gave to the illusions that are cultivated daily in the terminal phase of the Iron Age. In this perspective, and about the new aberrant anthropological revolutions, no longer on the horizon but already underway, we decided to take up his writings and “rebuild” the nature of the human being under the visual angle of Tradition, ideally trying to restore to contemporaries the perception of the human condition prior to “anthropological desertion” proper to “race” of the end times.
Corbin condenses everything that can be written on the topic in this double aphorism: “Outside this theophanic and hermeneutic function of the Angel, every other world is only silence for man. His spiritual ascension from Heaven to Heaven, from world to world, it cannot be realized without the guidance of the Angel. Not finding or losing contact with the Angel therefore means getting lost in the desert of the uncertain and unknowable., means 'to desert'.
The cause that triggered this cycle is the evil desire of individual souls, who renounce their state of angelic individuality to take on, giving in to an aberrant inclination, the mask of material physical individualities”.
As regards the fate of real estate in Italy, I believe that the Episcopal Conferences and APSA will gradually intervene, I can imagine with immense joy, except then end up at the center of repeated scandals similar to London palaces and diocesan villas “at red lights” like Honduras and Argentina… Eh si, I admit that I also follow these latest events which to define as mouth-watering is a nice understatement.
As you may have understood, I am not at all as optimistic as you may have thought when reading my first comment to the gentleman to whom I initially responded…
P.S.
My aunt's congregation is trying to sell all the convents that are gradually closing, something obviously necessary to continue to support themselves and ensure a decent old age for the sisters who have dedicated their entire lives to children in schools and to the sick in their former hospital… Sad reality but that's it.
Thanks again for the nice discussion
Dear Roberto,
I share your thought, when I read about some young people who become priests I feel admiration but also a lot of pain, because they will find themselves priests in increasingly anti-Christian societies, secularized and “nationalized” as it were, they won't be able to utter even a vowel without being lynched by the ultras of relativistic thought erected as Leviathan, for them looks of contempt that are not at all hidden and perhaps insults and perhaps even physical attacks as they pass by, as has happened too many times.
I talked about it with my aunt, a nun who plays an important role in a religious congregation, she is sorry because for years no Italian has entered their novitiate and I replied to her “But what do you expect?? Thank Heaven that there are Latin American and African women who, however few, still enter…”. In reality, she is convinced that martyrdom now awaits believers, exactly as I think, but I believe that her displeasure is a real heartbreak for someone like her who entered the convent 17 years amidst parental opposition. Other times, other company…
Good day
Lucia's way,
when in an almost joking tone, a brother of mine, he said "after all, the Devil is by nature stupid", I replied: «You're joking, vero? The Devil is a concentration of intelligence in its pure state.".
I understand your familiar nun's speech well and above all her understandable pain. These are speeches that I have heard several priests give, religious men and women, which I have always dissuaded from thinking that we could encounter what were the old classic forms of martyrdom. And this is precisely because the Devil is intelligent, knows well that the blood of martyrs has always been the greatest fertilizer of the Holy Church of Christ, who first offered himself as a sacrifice.
We will not die martyrs, we are already dying in the ridiculous, deprived of any credibility, desecrated from head to toe to root.
We can forget about a new Napoleon who captures and takes away the Supreme Pontiff Pius VII prisoner, today we have Maurizio Crozza who is the reigning Pontiff, and its predecessor perhaps even more so, he ridiculed them in every way, with a desecrating spirit, in the name of the legitimate freedom of satire. But, at the same time, we want an ad hoc law that can throw anyone who dares to satirize gays in their country's prisons, for instance.
No, he can reassure his familiar nun that we will not die persecuted and martyrs, we will die in ridicule, in which they are already making us die. They won't attack us, they will use the absolute worst form: the indifference. All this because, I repeat, the Devil is intelligent.
Personally, I lack his optimism and touching innocence, when he states «Thank Heaven that there are Latin American and African women who, although few, still enter». In fact, I fear there is very little to thank, given that quite a few of these Africans who come to Italy to make up the numbers in the dying religious congregations which are now reduced to a few dozen elderly nuns, they are often problematic and not easy to manage. Let's not hide behind a finger, we know very well that many congregations of nuns are forced to support their nuns' families in their respective countries of origin, if they don't want to take the risk – as it happened – that they leave the congregation and return to their homes or elsewhere. There is more to say about Latin Americans, or about Indians born into Buddhist families, baptized a 15/16 years and became nuns a few years later because the families were poor and could not provide them with dowries. And if in Indian society the family cannot provide dowry, the girl cannot marry, Unfortunately he only has two choices: or be a prostitute, or … get baptized, become a Christian and then become a nun.
I know congregations of nuns who are unhappy after these shopping campaigns, they find themselves with nuns who later 10 years of life lived in Italy are unable to express themselves correctly in Italian. And so, some congregation which for some centuries stood out for the way in which it dedicated itself to the formation of young men and women, managing schools within which the nuns, all graduates and graduates, they played the role of teachers, and in an excellent way, today they find themselves with teams of certain Nigerians, of certain Indians and Latin Americans who have difficulty speaking decent Italian, never imagine if they could fill the role of teachers in what were their prestigious and excellent schools! And so, the old nuns, they converted their school buildings into hotels, some even in five-star wellness centers.
Here you can see a former school of a Congregation of Ursuline nuns transformed into a hotel and wellness centre, managed by those same nuns who have raised generations of students for over a century:
https://www.domusmariaebenessere.com/centro-benessere-spa
Can an Italian girl join a congregation of nuns to become a hotel employee?
Of course not, some young people from other countries are willing to do it.
And when the old nuns who hold the purse strings tight in their hands die, who will manage certain hotel real estate assets? What will happen to certain congregations?
Let's hope the Holy See intervenes in time, if we don't want to see a team of certain African or Latin American women sell off an entire real estate portfolio to the first vulture that passes by.
«E’ so if you like", said Luigi Pirandello.
And who would deny this reality, he would lie in a shameless way to say the least.
I hope I haven't made you bitter, but this is the reality we have to deal with.
reverend father,
thank you for this insight into religious life. As a religious person I think it is important that the faithful also realize the state of things, before any scandals arise, whether real or mounted.
Unfortunately, I am perhaps even less optimistic and I fear that the Holy See is somehow condemned to always arrive too late on serious situations of spiritual degradation, cultural and human in which ancient and less ancient Institutes find themselves, who gave so much to the Church and to the Lord. And why too late? Because the instruments of government and control provided for by law are too often used badly or in a purely formal way, to the point that ordinary visits, which are also done, by the same admission of many visitors, they cannot really impact the life of communities. And if the visitors themselves believe they cannot have an impact, what results do we think we can achieve? Which ordinary visit still produces real decrees? We really think that the situations in which religious life finds itself can be governed and controlled only with advice and recommendations?
Then we cannot be surprised that the CIVCSVA intervenes with extreme force when it does! To get back to the main topic, I dare say that I would like the Church to use within itself the same legal finesse with which - rightly in my opinion - it intervened with the note on the Zan bill to the Italian government.
A religious
Dear Father Ariel, regardless of whether or not I agree with you on these very difficult issues, She made me understand how hard it is to be a priest for those who truly believe in it. And how much harder it will be in the times to come.
Dear Roberto,
I reply to her and a little further down also to Lucia who commented on her post.
I know that every now and then I start with statements, the result of facts and episodes that are always rigorously real and therefore documented, which annoy certain fideists who have changed Christ God into Jesus comrade and the Blessed Virgin Mary in one Perugina kissing figurine. But this is also my job, since every now and then, some conscience, I can shake her and make her ask herself serious questions.
Years ago, finding myself in a seaside area of Campania during the summer, I celebrated Holy Mass in a parish church. Two seminarians were present for the day dedicated to vocations and at the end of the celebration they gave their testimony to the faithful. I must say that I was a little irritated’ also the parish priest of that parish, because the two were allowed to speak, but only after having given the blessing and announced “the Mass ended peacefully”, because before then the priest speaks, to which one responds with the phrases foreseen by the ritual. All the rest, from announcements to notices or anything else, it is done after Mass is over. Then I had them speak from the steps of the altar, not from the ambo, which is not simple “lectern” but the place and liturgical space from which the Word of God is announced to the faithful.
One of the two explained that he wanted to become a priest to "fulfill myself and be happy". I took them both into the sacristy and told them: «You have just served as altar servers to the presbyter, all’old christ, such am I by the Sacrament of grace. And you didn't even notice and realize that I climbed Mount Calvary renewing Christ's sacrifice on the cross in a bloodless form.?». And to the one who had talked about becoming a priest to realize himself, I said: «Have you ever read the passage from the Holy Gospel that says: “If anyone wants to come after me, you deny yourself, take up his cross every day and follow me”? [LC 9,23]. And out of conscience I told him: «Change your path immediately, to avoid harming yourself and then others, in case your unfortunate trainers led you to become a priest. You are emotionally immature and do not have the basic requirements to set out towards the priesthood and I have the moral duty to tell you this, especially if no one has ever told you".
The parish priest, knowing it later, he was upset, the rector of the seminary, coming to know everything, he got angry. And the first and second complained to their bishop so that he would contact my bishop to force me to apologize to the poor darling who had been so hurt.
Two years later he was ordained a priest.
One year after ordination, moving from the surreal and distorting world of the seminary to the ecclesial and pastoral reality, went into crisis just ten months later. They send him to Rome to do a specialist course, like: Let's make him change a little’ air that the little darling will recover. In Rome he begins to have acquaintances, as it were, not exactly recommendable for a young priest. More months pass and the little treasure searches for happiness, he finds it elsewhere and leaves the priesthood on the spot.
In the month of May I present myself outside the Paul VI Hall in the Vatican where the C.E.I planarian is held, I'm waiting for the bishop of that diocese, my present, I remind him of the fact and ask him: «Maybe you don't think so, Your Excellency, that the parish priest who protects this treasure should be brushed from head to toe, while the rector and the spiritual father of his seminary were kicked in the ass?». He replies the bishop: «If I had your determination I would have already done it, but you were born a lion and I was born a deer". And that bishop – emeritus today – He became and still is my dearest friend.
Today, to become a priest, you need a testosterone level above the norm. To the seminarians, before admitting them they have interviews with some trusted psychologist, which is unknown because they are almost always and de rigueur women. However, it does not cross anyone's mind to have them examined by a good urologist, because the idiots who are required to be priests today, with the faithful that we find ourselves and with the society that is increasingly moving towards rejection and hatred towards everything that is Christian, they must be of necessity and rigor above the norm. For the good of the future priest and for the good of the People of God, increasingly in disarray, who will have to assist and support at the cost of their lives.
Better to close the parishes due to lack of priests, rather than creating unhappy people who in turn generate unhappiness and dismay in the People of God who need, Today more than ever, of solid guides, safe and … if you allow me the term: bullshit!
Caro Father,
Maybe I already wrote it in some other comment, but I experienced the situation you described regarding the serious moral crisis of the seminaries firsthand.
The case of that seminarian who you say abandoned the priesthood afterwards 10 months well … story seen with my eyes.
According to this seminarian who was in a well-known religious congregation which I had the unfortunate idea of entering (although God also used the evil I experienced in that structure of sin) well… he too was all a blaze of joy, chants, dance… making him notice me too, that it seemed to me instead that the priesthood should be conformation to Christ crucified, without blemish and frivolous emotions, taking for example the Curé of Ars, patron of priests, he told me that this curate of Ars didn't understand a thing, that times had changed and that the priest was now something completely different. No one wants to doubt that times have changed, for charity. However, this new priestly model of his based on the ephemeral and frivolous joy of an emotional faith, led him to abandon the priesthood after a few years, as soon as someone told him that he could no longer continue to mind his own business with priestly ordination (incidentally, this guy had used his ordination as a springboard to join theatelier by a well-known artist of sacred art).
And so, after eating, drunk, studied at the expense of this congregation, and after having been ordained a priest by a very attentive and prudent rector, his vocation collapsed.
I'm serious, It's not a joke. She, dad, did he ever think that one day he might become a bishop? Nominassero, I think they would make a great choice.
Stefania's Way,
for this reason I could also become the Roman Pontiff, given that the requirements required for election to the sacred throne are only two: being male and baptized. You are not even required to be celibate, in understandable deference to the Blessed Apostle Peter who was married and met the Lord Jesus when he healed his mother-in-law. Then, him and other Disciples, they left their families to follow the Divine Master.
I also answer you seriously by telling you that the Ecclesiastical Authority – to whom it would never occur to promote me to the episcopate and confer on me the fullness of the apostolic priesthood – , instead it would make a bad and not an excellent choice, be my name.
I know the situation in which most dioceses find themselves and, being an intimate and confidant of many bishops, I know how much they have to sweat to be respected and obeyed by many priests who calmly continue not to respect and obey them., to do what they want and to badmouth the bishop throughout the diocese. If a priest did something like this with me as bishop, after the first private warning and the second warning before two elderly priests fell on deaf ears, at the third I would lock him in a room with me and break the pastoral staff on his back. Then I would take away his ability to celebrate Holy Mass, to preach and administer confessions until he gets back in line. What if the priest reacts by attacking all his parishioners against me – events that happened repeatedly and frequently, complete with booed bishops arriving in the parish for the patronal feast or for the pastoral visit – in response I would also punish the parishioners by canonically suppressing the parish.
This is just to give an example, there would be many more to do.
I therefore assume that no one will ever dream of selecting me as a candidate for the episcopate, In any case I would refuse, because as I told you I know the state of the dioceses and the presbyteries that form them. There are situations that have been gangrenous and degenerating for decades, in a succession of colorless bishops, smell and taste hostages of their vicars general and a group of untouchable parish priests who make good and bad weather. At that point the bishop limits himself to acting as a gray official in a mutual relationship of contempt: he doesn't respect the shapeless jumble that are his presbyters, divided and quarrelsome, and his presbyters do not respect the bishop.
I'm a sinner, undoubtedly, but according to her, I could truly deserve such a sentence to serve on this earth?
A brother of mine, became bishop three years ago, he couldn't help but cheer … “I did it!”. I replied to him: "Yup, you made her become the undertaker responsible for transporting the corpse lying on the anatomical bed in the mortuary. But they will put a cross around your neck, a ring on his finger, a miter on his head and a crosier in his hand, they will call you Most Reverend Excellency and in this way they will try to make you forget that you are just a poor helpless gravedigger".
He took away my greeting, which I am very happy about.
Excuse me father, I try to understand but I can't.
Responding to Roberto, you told the story of a seminarian who then left the priesthood just a year after ordination and Andrea certainly responded to this story by saying that he had lived (I think I understand as a former seminarian) similar events. That's why I tell you that, with a bishop like you, that priest would not have become and, the seminar, it would have worked correctly.
Personally (maybe I'll be wrong) I think we really need people like her.
Caro Ennio,
I realize that certain discussions are not easy to understand, no matter how hard one tries to make them so, because they touch on intra-ecclesial dynamics that are difficult to understand even for truly devout Catholics, practitioners and those linked to the Church.
There is a book of mine that I am very fond of, Nada s security, is a historical novel set at the end of the eighteenth century which contains behind the lines a profound meditation on martyrdom in a climate of persecution, the Robespierre's Period of Terror. The protagonists are a group of Carmelite nuns who will later end up guillotined in hatred of faith. This entire work of mine is built mostly on the dialogues of these women and other characters.
The new prioress must be elected at a time of great crisis and danger. The nuns are inclined to elect a very courageous sister of theirs, combative, intelligent and with a ready answer without any hesitation in front of anyone. But she herself invites them not to elect her, explaining that at that moment it could have been harmful, precisely because of the temper he had.
I will now try to answer you on those complex internal issues that are not easy to understand, starting from the fact that yes, it's true that that certain seminarian, with me bishop, he would never have become a presbyter, this is out of the question, but that the seminar would work properly, this is not really said. I explain why: in the last five decades dozens of seminaries have been closed in Italy. Before, even small dioceses had their seminary. Today there are mostly inter-diocesan seminaries or regional seminaries, where the bishop is in fact obliged to send his seminarians, by virtue of the decisions taken by the regional Episcopal Conference, useless duplication of the national Episcopal Conference, with the sole result of belittling and degrading the governing power of the bishops within their dioceses.
I'll explain: the bishop of a small or even medium-sized diocese, he cannot afford a seminary for three or four seminarians, if, please, he can get them. Least of all could it have a theological school or course of theological studies for seminarians. So he is obliged, whether you want it or not, to send them to the inter-diocesan or regional seminary which offers theological study and related courses.
Personally, I have always considered the training given in the theological studies of these inter-diocesan and regional seminaries to be totally unreliable., where the improvident rectors have trained generations of future priests by mocking philosophy, scholasticism and classical metaphysics, declaring St. Thomas Aquinas outdated and replaced with that cancer of the theology of Karl Rahner, training seminarians on the texts of Protestant theologians, calling as superstar heterodox theologians of the caliber of Andrea Grillo hold conferences, Marinella Perroni, or inviting the now finally decayed Enzo Bianchi to sow anthologies of heresies and even sending seminarians to do retreats with him at the so-called monastery of Bose.
Can a bishop accept that his seminarians are literally deformed? I would never accept it, if however – always speaking for example – I refused to send them to the regional seminar, accusing those who direct it of blatant heterodoxy, who teaches us and who invites us to lecture, all the bishops of the region would take it badly to say the least and would bring out the classic accusation of … lack of episcopal communion.
A quel point, who explains it to them, or to the Holy See where they would rush to protest, than a bishop, master and guardian of doctrine, he can't do it “Communion” with heresy and with teachers who raise future priests to the sound of Protestant authors and philosophers who fit Catholic education like cabbage for a snack, like Hegel for example?
Not so much the national assembly of bishops, but its duplicate, these are precisely the regional Conferences, they have inexorably limited the powers of the bishop, that in his own diocese he should be a real pontiff, as it has always been.
It's the fault of that great rip-off called in a completely inappropriate and specious way: collegiality, because collegiality is something completely different.
Therefore, from this Episcopal College, it is good to keep away and be careful not to aspire to enter into it, why die of total helplessness while everyone around us falls, it's worse than dying from a painful cancer against which, while finally dying, you can at least try to react.
Regarding his father's last response to Lorenzo:
Great answer father, through that particular and highly prized way of expressing yourself that is unique to you, able to “aim and hit hard” ma, even more, to love immensely and excite. May this great good radiate with light “a heart”
Vlady if he doesn't convert in time like all of us , obviously he goes to Hell to Satan for eternal torments, Unfortunately I believe that today the real problem is that the two-thousand-year-old Catholic faith and doctrine has been distorted, an example is the conception of sin as a simple disordered relationship, which in truth is also this, but it is no longer perceived as the ontological death of the immortal soul, which requires repentance and confession for eternal salvation. I believe this is the drama of many clergymen today , in fact if one has this correct Vision of the mortal sin of the soul , we welcome and pray and advise these brothers of faith for their eternal salvation and we do not limit ourselves to a simple friendly human relationship which must exist. Now I ask you, is this not the priest's job?? And the Church does not have salus animae as its supreme law , so I believe that his speeches are those of modernists who only see the human level and never the spiritual one. And with this I do not consider myself an integral Catholic because I believe in dislogue and openness but to lead to Christ and salvation and save from the clutches of Satan and hell, Of course, one is free not to believe in patience.
But you are a born pedagogue!
before any subjects closed to pardon actions, she, to open them to the mystery of God's mercy, he thinks of warning them and therefore convincing them by fearing hell and eternal damnation?
I had to work sometimes for years, to recover people who had developed aversion and disgust towards the Catholic Church for having met people like her and for having identified them with the thought of the Church and its doctrine. So be careful, She risks Hell as she is responsible for pushing away and disgusting in this way many souls who could be recovered to grace, presenting him with his idea of the Gospel as if it were the Penal Code of North Korea.
of course not, I'm not going to scare people, as you say and I confirm, us
wants pedagogy etc, but I wanted to remember that the aim must be the eternal salvation of immortal souls, obviously in this context I wanted to clarify, it's serious instead that you accuse me of people like me etc who have pushed away etc, he doesn't believe that he is making judgments on those he doesn't know and doesn't know, I believe that calm discussion is useful for everyone, but if you judge those you don't know then ask yourself first. Then answer yourself if you believe in Satan, hell and heaven, you know, I had a heated debate with some because they said it was a myth, empty or non-existent hell and fantasy paradise , so I pointed out that at the bottom of everything perhaps the question is one of faith and salvific Catholic doctrine, I'm certainly not talking about her obviously, I don't know her except through social media and her articles and so I don't allow myself to say anything, obviously this also includes the question of how to understand mortal sin, read it again and you will see that I hold to two thousand year old Catholic faith and doctrine. After all, I have followed Father Amorth and personally some operational exorcist priests and therefore I know from direct experience what I am talking about and therefore I advise everyone, to do, if possible this experience, obviously always in the spirit of faith and prayer for support of such priests and thus the absolute truth of the gospels is understood. I believe that during the seminary period, future priests should first of all have this experience.
Wait … wait … you accuse me of modernist heresy and then, after I responded to her on the merits of her absurd fantasy-doctrinal questions, she reacts by accusing me of judging her?
He knows what it means to accuse a priest and a theologian of being a modernist heretic? But she's really hilarious!
So, just to use a word over the top I remember them: he has an idea of how angry the dutiful and faithful brother was to his father narrated in the parable of the Prodigal Son, when he saw his brother return home not because he was repentant, but because he was hungry and in total poverty? Because this is precisely what that passage from the Holy Gospel narrates (See. LC 15, 11-32). there, she risks doing the exact same thing:
«[…] now that this son of yours who devoured your belongings with prostitutes has returned, you killed the fatted calf for him.".
And I repeat them, the Prodigal Son did not return because he was repentant, but because he no longer had money and clothes and because he was hungry. Or does it appear to you that the Holy Gospel tells the story in another way? She understands that her father ordered him: first you repent and then you enter, otherwise you will go to burn in the flames of Hell?
Tell us … tell us …
The prodigal son had two friends:
– one told him: “continue like this, your Father loves you and will come looking for you”;
– another said: “if you don't get up and go back to your father, you will starve among these pigs”.
Two-bit sophist, answer on the merits, if he wants to beat and counter!
I stated and here I repeat what has already been said:
«the Prodigal Son did not return because he was repentant, but because he no longer had money and clothes and because he was hungry. Or does it appear to you that the Holy Gospel tells the story in another way? She understands that her father ordered him: first you repent and then you enter, otherwise you will go to burn in the flames of Hell"?.
To this he must answer: is it true or is it not true that the father narrated by Christ himself does not condition the acceptance of his son to repentance and that he is even less careful about imposing on him: first you repent and then I welcome you?
If instead of answering he raises other questions like a low-class sophist, his comments from troll in their wild state they will no longer be published, clear?
The cheap sophist, if the wise presbyter does not censure it, would like to quietly point out that it is written: “Then he came to himself and said: How many wage earners in my father's house have plenty of bread and here I am starving! I will get up and go to my father and tell him: Dad, I have sinned against Heaven and against you; I am no longer worthy to be called your son. Treat me like one of your boys. He left and walked towards his father. ”
Could the wise presbyter remind me of the theological meaning, because it is very likely that I have sophistically forgotten it, of Greek verbs: “come”, “dishonest” e “sin”?
The very wise presbyter could also help me, clarify whether the repentance of a son who returns home to avoid dying of hunger is equally acceptable to the father as that of a son who returns home for love of his father?
And finally the most important thing: how could the son decide to return home if someone supports him by stating that grazing pigs is a healthy life in contact with nature, that carobs aren't that bad and that a little’ fasting is good for your health?
A hug in Christ from the troll to the wild.
With her arrogance she would even test Job's patience!
I already told her – indeed intimated – to stop cutting and sewing on the pieces of the Holy Gospel.
However, that's all:
«When he was still far away his father saw him and, moved, ran to meet him, she threw herself around his neck and kissed him. The son told him: Dad, I have sinned against Heaven and against you; I am no longer worthy to be called your son. But the father said to the servants: Presto, bring your best dress here and dress it up, put the ring on his finger and the shoes on his feet. Bring the fatted veal, kill him, let's eat and celebrate, because this son of mine was dead and has come back to life, it was lost and has been found. And they started partying." (LC 15, 20-24).
He just doesn't understand that his father welcomes him, runs towards him, she throws herself around his neck and kisses him, before the son can open his mouth and express his repentance? Don't give me a Greek lesson after copying and pasting some catchy verbs, because the culture of this parable is not Greek but entirely Judeo-Jewish. So instead go and check what it means in the Jewish culture of the time – in which this parable is placed – the “run towards”, “throw yourself around your neck” e “kiss a child” who had dared to ask for his share of the inheritance before his father died.
This is the central point, only a stubborn blind person can fail to understand it even if it is written so clearly: the Parable of the Prodigal Son is truly the Parable of the Father, and within it the father's action is based entirely on total gratuitousness, and the father acts first by welcoming and giving freely, without waiting for even half a word of repentance and admission of guilt to be expressed to him. He acts before the sinner who has returned to his father's house can open his mouth and emit even a single sigh.
I avoid explaining to you the substantial difference between the repent for vital survival needs and the regretting when someone is doing great instead and does not lack any need or superfluous material good, otherwise send me some other text manipulation. In any case, the difference is the one that could exist between a young man from a poor developing country who by becoming a priest acquires a much better social status and privileged living condition, compared to what could instead be the situation of the son of a multimillionaire Texan oilman who loses his social status by becoming a priest, his privileges and descends to a far lower material level of life.
Clear? Yet both are priests with equal rights and sacramental dignity.
In conclusion: it means it's not like that?
Lo tip.
He wants to be right in the face of his obvious error based on actual manipulation of the text?
Take it and keep all the reason, when necessary it is not denied even to madmen, imagine if it can be denied to a person of great lucidity and science like her.
But you're there or you're doing it?
“And finally THE MOST THING’ IMPORTANT: how could the son decide to return home if someone supports him by stating that grazing pigs is a healthy life in contact with nature, that carobs aren't that bad and that a little fasting is good for your health?”
Therefore, without continuing to play foil I ask you specifically: did you remind Vladimiro and Paone that homosexual sin is a sin that cries out to heaven and could lead to hell or did you prefer to play nice?
«THE BLOOD OF THE INNOCENT FALLS AGAIN’ ABOUT YOU»
Replying to her is a waste of time, because every sentence, expression and explanation ends up distorted and upside down. In fact, as Oscar Wilde said, just to stay on the topic of homosexuals: «never argue with an idiot, beats you in experience and drags you to his level", because the idiot's brain is like Peter Pan's island: there is not.
Having clarified this, I'll go further.
She is the classic troll O keyboard lion than if in front of an audience of people he found himself in front of a person like me, what a lion I am by nature and truly, in the space of less than a minute he would appear like a shy and frightened bunny.
But this is not the point but something else.
You read in our columns the article by Sister Monia Alfieri which reports her report made to the Commission of the Senate of the Republic as representative of the Catholic Schools regarding the Zan Bill? He had the opportunity to listen to the last three television interventions that I have made on this topic, reporting with extreme precision what the C.E.I. expressed before. and then the Holy See?
He noticed how precisely we expressed ourselves, without really falling into any “pleasure”, as you accuse in a truly infamous and defamatory way?
Well I tell you: her and those like her, violent and aggressive, hidden behind a keyboard on which they vent their worst human frustrations, social, emotional and sexual, they risk being directly responsible if the Zan bill passes – I hope not – as it is written, with enormous damage to the Church, bishops and priests, the Catholic faithful, Catholic schools and our pastoral mission.
Le lobby LGBT, which have no shortage of money and active and hard-working personnel, they have long collected tens of thousands of hateful and insulting comments like his and presented them in documentation to the Senate, stating that some clergymen, Catholic scholars and intellectuals, they have expressed themselves and are expressing themselves yes, in a lucid and calm manner, but that «the great majority of the Catholic hard core uses sui social media aggressive language, violent, insulting and discriminating against gays".
And tomorrow, because of people like her, which are the living denial of Catholic and Christian thought and feeling, hidden behind a keyboard to vent the worst of their frustrations in anonymity, we risk ending up under investigation or on trial – just like what happened to me – simply for having expressed opinions that have nothing insulting or discriminatory about them. And I, trial, I ended up there because like all males with balls I express myself with my name and surname, putting my face on it and taking all responsibility for what I say and affirm. Instead she throws the stone in anonymity and withdraws her hand, after having uttered aggressive insults of all kinds.
Tomorrow, because of her and those like her, we could put up with it – I repeat, I hope not – a law that limits the exercise of freedom of opinion and the exercise of freedom of teaching of the Church, and it won't be a fearful anonymous person like you who pays, keyboard lion in his closed room and frustrated rabbit in public, but we will pay the entire bill, we who are present and visible on the front line, therefore immediately traceable, available and easy to hit.
Saying this to her is just a waste of time, in fact I didn't answer her, but I only gave an explanation to those who read it, reiterating that those like her are to the Catholic world and to the Catholic community what Cicciolina is to chastity.
And that tomorrow, the blood of the innocents who will be hit hard because of her and those like her, may fall on guilty people like her, as you, through the merciful and just judgment of God.
As we wanted to demonstrate: you're just a dumb know-it-all, proud of his ideas, the 98% of which I must admit I share, who does not accept being contradicted and who, when he is in difficulty, he starts to offend by barking like licking dogs.
Pale lady, I would be afraid to confront you? At least they would like some 10 of people like you to scare me… 🙂 😀
Thank you for sadly confirming what I just wrote.
If in fact a self-styled Catholic, disgusting in language like a sewer and arrogant like a Demon, he addresses himself in this way to a presbyter of 58 year old, it is soon clear how he will address his posts on social media to members of the powerful and politically dangerous LGBT lobbies.
therefore I repeat: the Zan bill risks passing as it was written – I hope not – because of people like her, tragically confused and presented by LGBTs as a paradigm and demonstration of “style” he was born in “way of attacking” and of “discrimination” implemented “from the base and the mass of Catholics”.
We know this is not the case, but people like you will prevent us from proving otherwise, Unfortunately!
As regards the contents of his anthology, to begin, caro keyboard lion:
1. first of all identify yourself with your name and surname;
2. choose the location according to your convenience and liking;
3. introduce yourself and repeat everything you wrote to me in front of an audience looking me in the face.
I met with more people, numerous times, not only in public contexts, but sometimes with an audience of listeners on the other side ranging from one to four million.
Nobody can tell me, so, to escape confrontation, whatever it is.
He thinks he has the balls to do it?
Well do it, or remain silent forever!
1. With you I have already qualified with name, surname and sacraments received, and I don't feel like doing it again.
2. Unfortunately I am very sorry, but it is very difficult for me to choose a place for a face-to-face confrontation with you because I have been fighting with you for 11 years with the tumor and since 2 with metastases.
3. I'm not afraid of death and I should be afraid of a little priest like you?
I have assisted people suffering from incurable tumors, died peacefully after leaving indelible life lessons for those around them and those who had dealings with them, to one of these, died at a young age leaving behind a husband and a little girl 9 year old, I also dedicated one of my books, Nada s security.
It pains me that the disease, rather than more sensitive and humane, made her angry, made aggressive and verbally violent.
Don't waste, so, the “opportunity” of the disease, which is never pleasant and above all not to be wished upon anyone, but even pain contains profound evangelical wisdom, as well as saving.
If not me, The Holy Pontiff John Paul II might be able to make her reflect, of which I recommend reading the apostolic letter
Savages of pain
The redeeming element of human pain and suffering.
I will remember you in my prayers for your conversion and I wholeheartedly bless you.
Gentile p. Ariel,
paraphrasing Our Lord, i troll you always have them among you. Let's not lose sight of the crux of the problem: even if the Zan law was made to throw i in prison Keyboard lions it would be equally wrong, unfair and ineffective. Ma, in truth, I am morally certain of it, the Zan law is intended not to prosecute this Lorenzo, ma, between two, to put her in the cage, no matter how hard she tries to smooth the hair of the powerful lobby.
I don't like vulgar controversy either, verbal violence and gratuitous insults, ma, in a country where blasphemy has no longer been a crime for over two decades, than the free expression of thought – constitutionally guaranteed right – suddenly becomes assimilated to hate crimes due to the overbearing whim of the gay tyrant, should cause a civil uprising, not the hunt for those presumed guilty of having unleashed divine wrath (of the gay tyrant).
No spoken or written expression against any human category justifies the repression of free thought. Also Luca Rocolfi, critical mind of the left and of the Zan bill, he observed that the problem lies precisely in the Mancino law to which the Zan bill is linked “that is, in the idea that to combat violence and discrimination the way is to multiply the protected categories” (https://www.ilgiornale.it/news/politica/bullismo-etico-sinistra-ricolfi-demolisce-ddl-zan-1960030.html).
Dear Stefano,
In my writings and public television interventions, including this latest article that you are commenting on, I have always reiterated what the moral position of the Catholic Church is, which no one is obliged to accept but which no one can declare in any way “outlawed”, given that we, as I clarify, our morality, which is linked to divine revelation and the evangelical message of salvation, we propose it but we do not impose it on anyone.
She by chance – I say this without any irony, be clear – intende rather than impose it?
I firmly reject the sender's claim that I am "worrying about smoothing the hairs of the powerful lobby", not only because the Lobby made me the subject of an unfounded complaint, but because one of the most radical segments, in this case an LGBT association, it even became a civil party in the future trial, as if he had celebrated, because it is not said.
With this sentence you offend me completely gratuitously, or rather it offends in a superficial and ungenerous way a person who has always said yes when it is yes and no when it is no.
Unfortunately, you have provided proof of how many people do not read the articles, or if they read them they get what they want from them. Indeed, always in this latest article that you are commenting on, I refer to evangelical wisdom with total adherence by quoting a specific passage from the Holy Gospel.
He read it, before commenting?
I'll tell you again, in fact I'll copy/paste it directly from the article:
«[…] which king, going to war against another king, he does not sit down first to examine whether he can confront with ten thousand men whoever comes to meet him with twenty thousand? if not, while the other is still far away, sends him an embassy for peace " [LC 14, 31-32].
You believe you have a sufficient number of soldiers, in this socio-ecclesial historical moment, to wage battle against a “very powerful king”?
When I explained the importance of mediation and the difference between mediation and compromise, she read and understood my words, or, just as I am the subject of criminal proceedings with a fierce LGBT association that wants my conviction, he was too busy consoling me with his pearls of wisdom by telling me: « … no matter how much she tries to smooth the hair of the powerful lobby"?
According to her, one who straightens the hair, ends up in court for the alleged crime of defamation in the press against a gay activist, complete with the Lobby becoming a civil party?
People like her, from the height of their unspecified catholicity, They bring me more offense and pain than the gay lobbyists who sued me.
And may God bless you and give you that intellect that makes the minds of those who presume to comment without first having read and reflected clear and reasonable..
I'm sorry, any offense on my part is to be considered involuntary and if anything to be attributed to the limits of the means of communication in use, as well as the inherent limits to my ability to express myself. However, I did not intervene to comment on the article (I already did it at the beginning, above), but in the midst of the controversy between her and Lorenzo, just to tell her that this Lorenzo is a non-problem. In my view. I respect the work you do and I assure you that I sincerely regret having caused you offence.
No worries, very expensive. How do you see, It takes very little to clarify and instantly cancel everything.
Dear father Ariel, his comments below are very enlightening and worth reflection.
Thank you.
I admit that the rhetoric of me “the sin not the sinner” he always made me laugh, but in any case it seems to me that too many Catholics are crying because the state is no longer confessional, actually sorry, because it is not directly theocratic in the manner of the ancient pagans.
Which in hindsight, it wouldn't suit them first of all…and above all perhaps it denotes a lack of observation with respect to what is inherent to natural law and what is inherent to Revelation, than if it were imposed, it would be stupid before being nefarious with respect to the Faith.
A greeting

Dangerous friendships (?)
In Genesis it is written that Adam had the ability to give a "Name" to animals and, as you teach me, the secret name of Rome (assuming it wasn't Love as many claim) it was known only to the priestly elite and passed down with great secrecy so that it would not fall into the hands of the enemies of the eternal city, that, knowing him, they could have destroyed it.
The "name" is therefore the essence of the "thing" and when the "sinner" voluntarily makes his "sin" coincide with his "person" he demonstrates that he wants to belong to the sin down to the most intimate fiber of his being.
In my notes I found this passage of which I did not record the author "In the most remote depths of Tartarus Dante places the inverse androgyne, that is, the being that mixes the two opposite and non-complementary natures of the Lamb and the Serpent. The soul gets lost in what is opposite to it and instead of transhumanizing it falls into dehumanization. The catabasis thus reaches its completion from the paradisiacal androgyny to the blasphemy of the infernal one."
I give myself a pseudonym that has great meaning for me and I sign myself with it

Ps
Regarding the passage about the prostitute, it seems to me that it is a later interpolation in which a copyist and not Giovanni had his hands in.
I am wrong?
She misses a passage of no small importance in her astonishing quote, because when some people use the Word of God as they presume it suits them, they don't even realize the meaning of what they quote.
But she, the step of “Christ and the prostitute”, he read it? Go read it, he finds it in The Gospel of St. John 7, 53 8-11.
What happens, before the phrase "go and sin no more" which she does not cite in support of the revealed truth, but of his personal truth? The whole sentence is:
«”Donna, where am I? Has no one condemned?”». She replied,: “No One, man”. And Jesus said to her: “Neither do I condemn; will’ and from now on sin no more”».
Whether she likes it or not – otherwise take it out on the Evangelist John – Christ does not condemn her and forgives her without conditioning his forgiveness even on the woman's repentance, he fills her with a totally free grace, because Christ God reads hearts and can scrutinize consciences, We're not. Only after having done this does he urge her, saying «go’ and from now on sin no more ".
He understands? He tells her only after not having condemned her and after having forgiven her.
In the Gospel of Saint Luke there is even a story … “worse” on the figure of the prostitute, concerning which Christ expresses himself in these terms:
«”Her many sins are forgiven, for he loved much. Instead, the one who is forgiven little, loves little”. Then he said to her: “Your sins are forgiven”» (see Luke 7, 47).
How can Christ say to a prostitute «Her many sins are forgiven, because he loved much"? The exercise of prostitution is perhaps a way of loving? And not happy with having said this, Christ even adds: «the one who is forgiven little, "love little". What does it mean, perhaps that to love you have to commit sins?
there, oh my great exegete from social media of the cut and sew to … as suits me, explain these steps to us, avanti: explain them to us, otherwise keep quiet and don't quote the Word of God inappropriately.
Just sure that the woman, at that time and in that situation, she didn't regret what she had done?
“My God I repent and regret my sins with all my heart, because by sinning I deserved your punishments…”
Wasn't the fear of stoning a more than sufficient reason to “to say” to God who was “repentant” of having committed adultery?
And are you really sure that Luca's prostitute wasn't practicing, just to give an example, in order to be able to feed some close relatives?
I base myself on what is written in the Holy Gospels and on the exegeses made over the centuries by the Holy Fathers and Doctors of the Church, I leave the process of intentions to you instead.
Strange:
– I was not aware that repenting of the sin committed only for the harm that comes from it (… I deserved your punishments…) was not the doctrine of the Holy Fathers and Doctors of the Church.
– I was not aware that in the Holy Gospels it was explicitly written that the love that Christ recognizes in the prostitute was exclusively that towards God or towards the clients with whom he entertained.
– Thanks for enlightening me.
There are many things that you are not aware of and which need to be enlightened, or great manipulator of the answers given in a clear and precise way on both a lexical and doctrinal level. And when certain elements of the doctrine are explained to her, she reacts in an arrogant and mocking way, falling into that terrible capital sin called “pride”, that of all the deadly sins she is the queen who drags them all with her.
I therefore inform you and those who think like you, that the original sin committed by Adam and Eve was not a sin of lust, but of pride. It was through pride that they altered the perfect balance of the entire creation, not through lust, which is not in first place at all in the list of the Seven Deadly Sins, not even the second and third, but on the fifth [Catechism of the Catholic Church, n. 1866]
Now he has learned another one, so … forward with his now well-known arrogant teasing based on the manipulation of the answers given, which remain imprinted on this page with all their clarity that only you can alter with the desired aim of misunderstanding and making the interlocutor say what he never said.
Oh fat boy, supreme illuminator of dark minds, I inform you that I knew that original sin had nothing to do with lust before you were born.
And now you also censor my answer as you usually do when you are unable to answer.
… and before I was born, a shred of parent or catechist, he did not teach her the respect due from a Catholic towards a minister in sacred, were also the worst and most sinful of the priests of this world?
When I meet people like her on my path, the first question I reasonably ask myself is: what religion they belong to?
Or does he really think he can be a faithful follower of Christ by throwing insolences and infamies at his priests which then, de facto, they always come back on her like shovelfuls of excrement thrown against the wind?
” nowhere in the doctrine or catechism is it written: sinners must be welcomed as long as they repent.” But the prostitute was told “go and Sin no more” Even if we need to make it clear that welcoming does not mean pandering.
People always deserve respect, the ideology no. What is sin must be rejected, while the sinner must be welcomed and helped.
But if the sinner wants sin to become truth and those who do not want to accept and share the ideology are defined as sinners, it seems to me outside the evangelical context.
German way,
I explained, It has been said and repeated for years that certain gay activists do not aim to ensure that the Church always welcomes the sinner – which it has always welcomed and which it must welcome – but who welcomes sin. This is something I remembered years ago when an improvident parish priest, with the approval of the Bishop, he baptized the child that Nichi Vendola and his partner had bought from a rented womb.
I also raised a theological question to which no one responded, a very serious question, among other things: how can you, to such a couple, make baptismal promises? You can ask them: renounce Satan … and all his works … and all its seductions? I'm always waiting for a response. Personally I would not have baptized the child, unless they had it presented by a godfather and godmother of proven Catholic faith. What if the bishop had told me to baptize him to avoid “political problems”, I would have answered him: baptize him directly during the Easter Vigil with all the LGBT elite who would come to church to give a public show of strength and then come out and say «the Church approves of us!», or more simply «we have bent the Church to our will!».
How do you see, I have clear ideas on the level of sacramental theology and on the level of human coherence.
Incidentally, the two friends mentioned in my article, Vlady Guagnano and Alessandro Cecchi Paone, not only are they against rented wombs, but they abhor the idea that some people want or can produce children through rented wombs. They have said and repeated it publicly several times, on a recent occasion even in my presence on a television program (Straight and Reverse, edition of 24 June 2021)
well, to tell the truth, Vlady said he was against the rented uterus only when this practice is used by hetero couples, as he calls them (we have an example here.: https://www.today.it/media/tv/ciao-darwin-povia-luxuria-scontro.html).
E’ but it is true that publicans and prostitutes will precede us into the Kingdom of Heaven, ma, at least for now, we should avoid holding some of them up as an example of moral coherence to those who struggle in the torments of faith.
His “she” who continues to sin and communicate especially when she is filmed on TV …
Cara Miranda,
initially I had difficulty using the feminine, I later succeeded, after having perceived that the person concerned felt very uncomfortable with the use of the masculine word, which came to me at the moment to use. Calling a person what they are or what they feel they are, I guarantee you that it is not an attack on Catholic morality, if anything, a gesture of human delicacy, which does not mean espousing all the ideas and beliefs of this or other people, who are first and foremost human beings deserving of respect, because respect is due to them.
Certain Catholics – I'm not saying her, be clear – they should sometimes learn from atheists. Example: a me, Professor Piergiorgio Odifreddi, he always called me “dad”. but yet, for him, total atheist that is, the priesthood is a purely human invention that has nothing of divine institution and so on. but yet, in a respectful way, he has always called me for who I am and who I feel I am, even if for him the priesthood and the fatherhood that derives from it do not exist.
If an atheist calls a presbyter by his title, addressing him for what he believes he is or what he is, I don't see why, a Catholic, should not address a trans by the respectful feminine name, knowing that otherwise the trans woman would feel offended by being called the masculine name.
E a me, cause offense to any creature of God, It doesn't really even cross your mind.
This does not mean approving or sharing all of the person's experiences or their choices, but simply give it the due respect.
Dear Dante,
to the Latin American transsexuals who came to me to confess while I was a penitentiary in a Roman basilica, then afterwards they participated in the Holy Mass with a devotion that was nothing short of moving, then remaining to pray after the end of the Holy Mass, while most of the faithful ran away before the celebrant had even finished giving the blessing, what should I have said? Perhaps deny him the Holy Communion that those who had just received while I was preaching the Gospel and celebrating the sacred mysteries were playing with their cell phones and who perhaps, presumably - but it cannot be ruled out that this is the case - they received Holy Communion without having confessed even once a year?
You see, I'll have my birthday next month 58 year old, I am now on the road to old age, a season of life in which: or we have come to perceive what the mystery of God's grace and mercy is, or we risk dying inhumanely in the inhumane way in which we experienced the gift of life.
When in the confessor, absolving her from sins, if anything, he used the expression “go and sin no more”, after she starred in the Act of Pain «[…] I propose with your holy help to never be offended again and to avoid the upcoming occasions of sin", from that moment on he perhaps stopped confessing having stopped committing sins?
I continue to confess, I don't know her...
Father Ariel,
but talk “with her” O “with him”? (Ed. referring to the trans Vlady Guadagno). I am a bit’ confused, I confess to you. I don't doubt the qualities of this person, which I also don't know (so I refrain from any comments); However, I would like your explanation about pronouns, reverend. Because confusion reigns supreme here.
I understand that she is still him, since he hasn't changed his sex, so someone can explain the meaning of lei to me?
Cara Miranda / Way There,
I answer both.
Initially I had difficulty using the feminine with Vlady, I later succeeded, after having perceived that the person concerned felt very uncomfortable with the use of the masculine word, which came to me at the moment to use.

This does not mean approving or sharing all of the person's experiences or their choices, but simply give it the due respect.
If I may chime in, I agree that out of human delicacy one can address male people as feminine if they prefer, but the same delicacy should suggest referring to these same people as masculine when speaking to third parties, especially if of Orthodox beliefs. Delicacy cannot be one-way, e, above all, it must be clear that it is only delicacy.
P.S.: It's none of my business and maybe I shouldn't get involved, but it would be interesting to know how Vlady's mother addresses him/her, that is, whether masculine or feminine. I say this because he himself said that when he decided to surgically change his sex, in the end he gave up for love of his mother who would have suffered. Therefore, if you accept your biological sex for the sake of your mother, because the same cannot be done for the love of God and for the love of others without victimization and without anti-homotransphobic retaliation?
Dear father Ariel, we are talking about gender and not profession, because’ for the prof. Odifreddi his priest and’ just a profession!
And, a “profession” towards which this declared atheist showed the respect that some Catholics do not show, apostolic, Romanian, committed and militant.
I'll give you an example, so he understands.
Interrupting the Holy Mass is not possible, unless there is an earthquake or similar event.
If for a serious reason the presbyter were to interrupt the sacred celebration, he can only do it before the Sanctus.
Years ago I celebrated Holy Mass in a parish church where a group of kids started making a market mess. I had to interrupt the reading of the Gospel to call them back, with the consequence that, as a sign of defiance, they made even more confusion.
I had to interrupt the homily.
Let me start by saying that the parents were present and instead of silencing them, they laughed and chatted among themselves.
Before the offertory I interrupted the Holy Mass by shouting at the mothers that they should be ashamed for having “relieved” such rude savages.
He knows what happened?
The angry mothers came to the sacristy to demand that I apologize for having dared to call their children rude..
Do you think that the prof. Oddifredi would never have done such a thing, or that he would allow his children nothing of the sort?
But is it possible that some Catholics always have a little word ready to reply to us priests, as if the experience is complex and difficult these days, of the sacred ministry, they lived it instead of us?
Dad, what always puts me in a good mood when I read it is the absolute contrast between its spirit of precision (note, quotation marks, pearl, quotes, elucidations and systematic dismantlings) and the real situations in which he puts his hands ?. For me the Catholic spirit is also this, although I confess I don't understand much about it because I'm just rediscovering the church. I'll just tell you that once I was in a serious state of mental confusion, I dreamed of her tidying up my drawers and cleaning up the house. I fear it is precisely his vocation to tidy up the disorder.
Thanks always (even if I remain a little confused and still go to peek at the talking madonnas too ? Sooner or later I'll die).
As always, dear Father Ariel, you were very good and responded with great intelligence and as a true Minister of God to the poor unhappy and presumptuous people who think they can teach everyone!

I don't think the promoters of the Zan bill are very interested “be welcomed with respect, compassion, delicacy”, especially by the Church. It's not clear why it has to be the Church, or his representatives in cassock, to seek agreement on this law, and not the common sense people who sit in Parliament. In fact, this agreement can only be political, and we must not run the risk of making it even appear as a moral compromise.
But there's more. The mediation of an agreement in this field is in my opinion impossible a priori, because it starts from the wrong premises. If in fact the Church distinguishes between sin and sinner, not so the promoters of these liberticidal laws. For them not only is there no sin, nor a sinner, ma, rather, there is an inseparable ontological unity between the two concepts. In fact, there could not be a category to be protected by law without the act that proudly distinguishes it from the rest of humanity. The powerful lobby that “defends” i gay, in reality it defends the moral lawfulness and anthropological truth of the homoerotic act. Anyone can sin, even against nature, without, however, identifying with his own sin and without claiming the protection of the law for his behavior, not so this lobby.
As proof of the above (and maybe I will be proven wrong), having already done what is right on my part, I think I can ask you how many of these gay TV icons, whose friendship she is honored by, certainly with pastoral purposes, they have shown her so far (specific) solidarity in the legal case in which she is involved?
Dear Stephen,
In a few lines he stated some impeccable facts, for this reason the situation of that Bill will not be easy to resolve. In all sincerity I think I can tell you that the Church could not fail to defend its right to freedom of thought, word and teaching, because if it were compromised in some way we would seriously risk being prosecuted under the law for a crime of homophobia or other crimes simply for having taught the Catechism of the Catholic Church.
As regards your last question, I have to answer that yes, I have received from several, including some famous exponents of the homosexual world, sincere solidarity. Several well-known public figures even offered to testify that they would sue me for having defamed and discriminated against a gay man., not only is it absurd, because according to them it is something that totally does not correspond to my personality, to my life and all my experiences.
By contrast, instead, I can tell you when 11 Years ago, denouncing situations of serious and risky moral degradation affecting some ecclesiastics who turned young paid hustlers on each other, after reporting the matter to the appropriate person, that is, to the Vicariate of Rome, I was literally massacred by all the faithful protectors that these members of the lobby gay ecclesiastica they had inside that building. And for years they made me pay, still continuing to make me pay for it. Everything is narrated and documented in my book And Satan became triune published in 2011, on which the Ecclesiastical Authority has not uttered a sigh. The only one in 2013 he tried to turn up his nose at that book of mine, it was the then Archbishop Angelo Becciu, substitute at the Secretariat of State, then cardinal, who years later met the painful end that is known to all today.
And while I was being passed through the meat grinder in the total indifference of both the Ecclesiastical Authorities and my brothers, I can assure you that no group of justice-loving priests raised their voices in my defense, despite knowing I was unfairly hit, punished and discriminated against for simply telling the truth and asking, with incontrovertible evidence and documents in hand, that the Ecclesiastical Authority put an end to that disgrace as soon as possible, before another serious and yet another public scandal emerged.
Some of these protectors, years later I saw them become bishops, one even a cardinal.
On the contrary, instead, after being made the subject of an unfounded complaint, some of the most pleasure-loving and libertine homosexuals have offered both to write memoirs in my defense and to ask to be heard by the judge as witnesses. And this without me ever asking them anything of the sort.
We are confidently awaiting the name, surname and defensive memory of these pleasure-loving but upright homosexuals ready to publicly defend a priest “Tory” accused of homophobia.
Every now and then, reading her, I don't know whether to interpret some of her outbursts as naivety or excess hubris… I would opt for the second one though given that, undoubtedly, she has always suffered from the syndrome, unfortunately very widespread among Catholics, of the “caponi di renzo”. I wish you much peace of mind, he will need it, in the via crucis that every process of this kind represents. However, you do not cultivate acrimony towards anyone, in his opinion, he is not her friend enough; take it out on someone who is evidently your enemy. You will certainly benefit spiritually from it. This people, so kind to her, shares a morality that is absolutely different from the evangelical one and compliant with the diabolical one, masterfully summarized by Alinski in rules for radicals in – 11 rules of “means and ends” –
The bad Catholics who displease her so much, instead, perhaps they simply cannot live up to the morals they share (I read yes?)
Caro Flambeau,
the clerical is like a rotten fish that when sprinkled with perfume only has the effect of stinking even more.
I have kept faith with the promises made certainly not through my own merit but through the grace of God. If I have merit, it is only that of having always been open to his grace, who preserved me from temptations and falls, which in my case could have happened, Anyway, only and exclusively with women.
I would like to hear from his august mouth a word of condemnation for those ecclesiastics, reported by me at my own risk – with all the damage that resulted for me for years – who gave up their sacred robes as monsignors of the curia to go with the young paid hustlers. Do you think any of these, today, we even find him a bishop. Nonetheless, when I documented certain situations without fear of possible denial, anything but rare, anything but isolated, in that Rome increasingly reduced to the refuge of sinners world where many bishops of the world often send their most problematic priests with the excuse of specialist studies, to get them out of the way and remove them from their dioceses, they were careful not to run for cover and, I repeat, they took it out on me, guilty of having reported these situations to the Ecclesiastical Authority, reminding it of its responsibilities in the face of facts of unprecedented moral gravity carried out by clerics.
I have not known the worst of sexual perversions in the secular world in which I have lived for 40 years before becoming a priest – world in which I met whoremongers, adultery, whores, “fags” and lesbians of all genders and social conditions -, I met them in the ecclesiastical world. This leads me to be particularly merciful towards certain sinners, with their weaknesses and sexual disorders, considering that at least they don't lay their hands on the altar saying “this is my Body … this is my Blood ….” after having just played with the flowering cock of a young hustler 18 year old.
If you have other pearls of wisdom to offer us, you are a welcome guest in these columns.
Only God knows the total, tragic and lucid truth that is in these words; and God will give Father Ariel credit for the courage he had in certain situations. This is not said by a secularist or an anti-clerical LGBT activist, but a priest [Editor's note: the name of the diocese was eliminated] who ended up as auxiliary bishop with a former seminary companion who, due to his effeminacy, we nicknamed Wanda Osiris, and all the trainers knew very well who he was and what he was like, but he was already protected by several monsignors. And this did not occur under the pontificate of the much criticized Pope Francis who really doesn't go down well with certain lovers of who knows exactly what tradition; He became bishop under the pontificate of Benedict XVI, the great theologian, the great rediscoverer of the authentic liturgy, etc.. etc..
Father Ariel is therefore right because at least, Vlady, famous Italian trans, he doesn't walk on heels with a miter on his head and a crosier in his hand.
The day that certain critical and merciless Catholics who think they know everything and can judge, they will understand the heartbreaking situations that we priests are forced to live through, it will always be too late … always too late …
Dear and esteemed Brother,
holy and above all truthful words from first to last.
I took the liberty of deleting the name of the diocese from your comment, knowing you, it surely escaped you without meaning to, and I put only the initial of your surname, because otherwise it would have been like naming the name and surname of the bishop in question, at the time you described, auxiliary bishop, today – I add to encourage your discussion – metropolitan archbishop of an Italian diocese and committed to talking only about the poor and migrants, of migrants and the poor, appearing in public with a half-collared clergyman, while under the pontificate of Benedict XVI it was all a triumph of ancient liturgical vestments and haute couture cassocks made to measure by the most expensive Roman tailors. First he became bishop, revealing himself to be more Ratzingerian than Benedict XVI, then he hoped to become a cardinal, revealing himself to be more Bergoglian than Francis I.
I thank you with sincere priestly brotherhood, confirming on my own skin the truth of your conclusion: «The day that certain critical and merciless Catholics who think they know everything and can judge, they will understand the heartbreaking situations that we priests are forced to live through, it will always be too late... always too late..."
But what a narrow life! You've watched too many football matches and you've gotten the idea that on the right of the screen there are always the good guys and on the left the bad guys...
I obviously stopped by to read Father Ariel's always ready and inevitably sharp response. I must admit, however, that I was particularly delighted, face Isabella, from the argumentative sophistication with which she displays ad hominem arguments and from the singular wit with which she constructs her allegories. In Italy I believe that even the stones know that at half time the teams change the playing field. her instead, curiously, ignores it.
Caro Flambeau,
I'm starting to have a certain age and a certain priestly seniority, therefore I tell you sincerely, one of two:
1. a lei, the suo time, he was fucked at the Pontifical Ecclesiastical Academy;
2. or he wanted to enter but was not admitted.
I tell you this because I have had it, as trainers, also two long-serving diplomats, one introduced me to the bishop who then welcomed me and consecrated me a priest, the other, who served in 25 diplomatic delegations of the Holy See scattered around the world, follows me since 11 years in my ongoing formation for the priesthood.
From them I learned that diplomacy is something completely different from nebulous turns of phrase, all said very affectionately to her who seems not to have learned it.
Repentance requires abandoning the practice of sin. It appears to you that the repentance of a hypothetical homosexual led him to abandon the practice of sodomy? Or rather he has calmed his conscience to continue with the same practice?
If God applied his criteria, Heaven would be empty, it would barely be inhabited by Christ, by the Blessed Virgin Mary, by Angels and some Saints, but beware: not even by the Saints, by some Saint.
