HEALING OF THE FAMILY TREE? BETWEEN KARMA And shamanic rites. SOME THEOLOGICAL AND PASTORal LINES TO MAKE DISCERNMENT

Praying for the healing of the past sins of ancestors in function of the liberation of their descendants is not only useless but is also unchristian as it is contrary to Revelation and the teaching of Jesus. Having said that, let's ask ourselves a question now: why we should insistently ask the Lord to free us from the sins of our ancestors, from their bad choices, from their vitiated acts in the use of free will if by doing so we actually affirm a moralistic relationship sick with cause-effect so apparently obvious, so merciless as to convey a destructive determinism that Jesus rejects?

It is a sad and true fact that when man no longer believes in anything, he always ends up believing everything, when he ceases to believe in God he ends up believing in the gods and reading the tarot. There are also obscure characters who distort the elements of Catholicism, including the Blessed Virgin Mary, which ends up being false and disfigured in the worst way, in part to create attraction, In part to set up real profitable markets.

For several years now we assist, Within some movements related to the Catholic Church, especially to those closest to the extremist area of charismatic, to a spiritual practice known by the name of Healing prayer of the genealogical tree O Intergenerational healing prayer. The most appropriate thing to do would be to write a book on the subject in order to be truly certain to deal with every little aspect and question that the theme of family tree healing highlights. As is evident from the text of the above prayer, these invocations are very long and detailed in listing all the evils and areas from which you want to be healed. In conclusion I only want to mention the presence of those social and family conditionings that can be an opportunity to commit evil or to facilitate a certain moral corruption of customs in society. These conditioning are defined by the social doctrine of the Church as "structures of sin". Within these structures all those social situations or institutions that are contrary to the divine law are falling but which always remain the expression and the effect of personal sins. Therefore the structures of sin if not steaming and restored can become the cause of corruption and perdition for man but they are always the result of a human freedom that runs from conversion to God, of a heart that does not listen and that does not obey, of a responsibility that agrees to go against God regardless of the consequences. In all this there is no determinism, It is always possible to reversal and a salvation and we must not bother the responsibility of the ancestors to find an acceptable alibi that can relieve us from the embarrassment of saying: It was my fault.
