I would very much like not to answer, but questions are coming from readers who ask for insights on the post that I reproduce here, published by a confrere who wrote it on a page Facebook which I chose not to name. This is the post of the confrere:

First of all, let me clarify, not so much as a priest and theologian but as a man of faith, than the Eucharistic ones of Bolsena and of They launch they are recognized by the Church as miracles, that is, as scientifically inexplicable events in which the Church Mater et Magistra recognized the divine supernatural intervention. None of this, for instance, we can say for the liquefaction of the blood of San Gennaro, which the Church has never recognized as a miracle, even if the Neapolitan populace indicates it as such. There is a big difference between miracle and prodigy, St. Thomas Aquinas explains it to us, explaining that what appears admirable and extraordinary to our eyes and senses is not necessarily a miracle: “True miracles can only be accomplished by divine virtue: In fact, God does them for the benefit of men " (Summa Theologica, II-II, 178, 2). Some events appear to be miracles but they are not. There are numerous situations through which man can fall into deception to the point of seeing what does not exist. As there are real facts which, however, do not have the nature of miracles, as the result of various natural causes, including those currently unknown. That of Bolsena was instead judged so striking and important as a miracle, that from that event arose a year later in 1264 the solemn feast of The body of the Lord established by the Supreme Pontiff Urban IV with the bull Pass out of this world.

Thomas Aquinas together with Bonaventura di Bagnoregio, another great future saint and doctor of the Church, on the orders of the Supreme Pontiff they assisted the Bishop of that diocese for the study and verification of the miracle. Shortly after the Supreme Pontiff gave Aquinas the task of preparing suitable texts for the liturgy of that new solemnity established. Thus it was that some of the most beautiful Eucharistic hymns in the history of the Church were born, including the Hymn I love you Devote, cited in many documents of the magisterium of the Church, in documents of the last council and in the Catechism of the Catholic Church. Perhaps all this happened due to a ... "presumed miracle"? Why calling the Eucharistic one in Bolsena a "presumed miracle" should lead us to ask ourselves first of all about a formation that is not simply presumed, but definitely not Catholic received by this priest who instills doubts with a similar post published on social media. At the same time we should ask ourselves about the theological and pastoral formation perhaps even more lacking than his bishop who lets him do it not from today but from always, this priest of his being not new to these inappropriate and unhappy expressions. Perhaps because H.E. Mons. Corrado Lorefice, Archbishop of Palermo, he thinks basically like his priest, being if anything, presumably, even worse than his own priest?

As far as I'm concerned I am very honored to say that if I had made a public statement of this kind, my Bishop would have ordered me to deny it immediately, then I think he would have forbidden me to write about social media for the next three years. And doing so would simply not have done well, but very well, so much weighs on the conscience of a Bishop the imperative duty to protect the Believers in Christ from the errors of certain priests, that precisely as priests they can cause much more damage than non-believing secularists ever will. Of course, my bishop would have acted this way because he is a true believer, as I am his presbyter. As for this presbyter and his Bishop Corrado Lorefice, I honestly don't know, I do not really know. Because when a bishop frees one of his priests to publicly affirm things of this kind, one is obliged to question the Catholic faith of the Bishop, to then say with deep pain: I don't know… with a very special thanks to the reigning Pontiff, that for eight years has given us this kind of bishops, after they emulated it by speaking only of the poor and migrants, of migrants and the poor. Too bad, however, that the Church is based on the Eucharist, not on the poor and migrants, someone explain it, to the Roman Pontiff, it's never too late.
