Reverend father ARIEL
I bring you some phrases from a speech by the holy Pope John Paul II
“Christians and Muslims, we have a lot in common, as believers and as men. We live in the same world, furrowed by numerous signs of hope, but also from multiple signs of anguish. Abraham is for us the same model of faith in God, of submission to his will and trust in his goodness. We believe in the same God, the only God, the living God, the God who creates worlds and brings his creatures to their perfection.”

I ask you how it is possible that our GOD that I remember is ONE and TRINE equal to “it gave “vindictive of the Muslims who in the Koran command to kill Christian unbelievers?Thank you
p,s I report a news of the charitable” Muslim brothers “HTTPS://www.aldomariavalli.it/2021/03/15/iraniani-condannati-a-morte-per-essersi-convertiti-al-cristianesimo-rifugiati-a-perpignan-hanno-chiesto-asilo-ma-la-francia-finora-lha-rifiutato/
dear fabio,
read my book Aspirin of moderate Islam, I explained everything in those pages
Only the atheist left pretends not to know these things, as it still pretends that sinkholes never existed.
But this nice and very tender Chaimaa Fatihi, how does he confuse Islam with Christianity? Ah, even today even at the top of the clergy they confuse Jesusism with Christianity… But then how is it possible to be so blind as not to see the horror? We must then think that those who confuse, in reality they know but are silent! So I would like to advise these allegedly blind people, to do the math well because sooner or later there will be a bill to pay, an account that will be expensive and bitter! And for those who do not believe in life after death but are still a sympathizer of Islam, to them I say: Caution !!! these here, these of Islam, the bill, just out of line, they will make you pay for it here on earth, in this immanent reality. Beautiful article Father Ariel, a powder’ of irony does not hurt, i just bought on amazon (I am an old customer) this latest book, it will definitely be as good as the other two I got last month. Thank you. Let Jesus Christ of Hail.
Long live the truth about these very bad teachers!!!!
Kind Egyptian doctor, I have read many stories like yours, of course NOT in the main stream press including that now as many former Catholics say. Whoever converts is disowned by the family, from neighbors, by friends and often threatened with death, sometimes physically killed and the worst thing is that this now happens in Europe too. I don't know if there are moderate Muslims, much more likely I believe from what she says too, are “bad “secularized Muslims who listen to the voice of conscience. Certainly for at least 40 years the Islamic community is increasingly fundamentalist and violent, as confirmed by the chronicles not only of terrorist attacks, but of rape and anti-Semitism in countries like France, Scandinavia, Belgium etc. towards Christians, Jews, towards Western women and even children or as happened in Lyon towards the Armenians. No wonder your grandchildren are staunch fundamentalists,l’ illusion of ‘ Secular Islam was just an illusion in which, unfortunately, too many in Italy in the first place still want to believe.
father ariel, does not believe that if certain attitudes of tolerance are widespread in the thinking of many clerics and not only this is also due to the new line indicated by CV II?
“Are, over the centuries, not a few quarrels and hostilities have arisen between Christians and Muslims, this sacred synod urges all to forget the past and to work sincerely for mutual understanding, as well as in preserving and promoting together for all mankind social justice, and valori morals, peace and freedom.” (Our life?)
Dear Luigi,
I hope he will read my book in the next few days, just why, among other things, you will find inside all my reservations about the Nostra Aetate document, expressed from a strictly theological point of view.
Gladly!
It will also be published in electronic format?
For now we only publish paper books and not in electronic format
It saddens me a lot to read about how CVII documents are being misrepresented: “1. In our time in which the human race is unified more closely every day and interdependence between the various peoples is growing, the Church examines more carefully the nature of its relations with non-Christian religions. In his duty to promote unity and charity among men, and indeed between peoples, in the first place it examines here everything that men have in common and which impels them to live together their common destiny.” /:/ The Council Fathers, in those early years 60, they saw the world launched into unity and, in the light of charity, they want to give their input invite “to forget the past” and to give priority to what we have in common: some have unfortunately read these words as a new ecclesiastical line, forgetting, however, that we are sent “like sheep among wolves” and invited to be “prudent like snakes and simple like doves”.
Lorenzo, because it would not be a new ecclesiastical line? CV II itself was designed to give the Church a new strategy of action according to which, through an opening to the demands and novelties of the modern world, it would have been possible to reach the heart and mind of today's man more easily and in this way bring him back to the Gospel message.
Beyond the questionable theological and philosophical assumptions of many of the ideas that supported this new strategy (but I can't talk about it in detail as it's not my field), the same numbers show that the results obtained are not exactly brilliant, rather, especially in Europe.
God is always the same, call it Allah or Holy Trinity. Therefore Muslims also believe in a God who wants Love and Peace. Not me but a lot of theologians affirm this.
You are free to deny the evidence of the facts, however, there is a freedom that he cannot claim: comment on an article without having read it.
Your Welcome, make a list of "fine theologians", because a famous theologian of the twentieth century, certainly Benedict XVI, in its keynote to Regensburg, about Islam, said quite another, also with reference to the element of violence.
Or as that wise man of Totò would say … 'But do me the favor!»
Here is the list (if they didn't say so, they agreed with that statement):
Jacques Dupuis
Tissa balasuriya
Enzo Bianchi
Michael Fitzgerald
Rosino Gibellini
Peter-Hans Kolvenbach
Franz King (he was Archbishop, but it will be fine anyway…)
Henri le saux
Vito Mancuso
Gerald O’Collins
Raimon Panikkar
Paul Tillich
Faustino Teixeira
Josè Maria Vigil
Paulo Suess
I have certainly forgotten a few other names…
You range between the comic and the ridiculous, without realizing that they are one and the other together.
But what did he send us: the litanies of the heretics?
She knows, for case, deeds and misdeeds of most of the people you mentioned?
You know that Jacques Dupuis was sentenced in 2000 by the Congregation for the Doctrine of the Faith, that Enzo Bianchi's thought is so heterodox that it cannot even be accused of heresy but of atheism, as our late confrere and theologian Antonio Livi did with theological precision?
You know that Vito Mancuso has denied some of the main founding dogmas of our faith to the point that, having involved Cardinal Carlo Maria Martini in a preface to one of his heretical books, the Jesuit magazine La Civiltà Cattolica published an article in which it highlighted the dangerous heterodoxy of his thought? And notice well: the new generation Jesuits who accuse someone of heterodoxy, it's stuff that really makes you think.
Etc … etc …
The authors you have cited are the exponents of the so-called most radical and most driven progressivism, several of which were cautioned, others condemned by the Congregation for the Doctrine of the Faith.
That's all, I don't say it, facts and deeds say so.
I don't go into the merits: if the Church tells me that Allah is a bad God I believe the Church.
But I say that Galileo Galilei was condemned and then… and that Yves Congar was first condemned and then became one of the main inspirers of the Second Vatican Council.
And then the Declaration in which it is written “the diversity of religions is willed by God” Pope Francis did not sign it.
The right sentence is “I did not sign it but Pope Francis”. Convicting then risks being out of fashion: Jesus is the Truth, because the Church must be afraid of the truth?
@Giovanni Di Guglielmo
Allah is simply the name of God in Arabic;
the problem is therefore not what the Church says about God, but what the Koran writes about Jesus:
– “Those who say are certainly disbelievers: "Allah is the Messiah son of Mary" " (5, 17.72)
– “And when Allah will say: «Or Jesus son of Mary, maybe you told people: ” Take me and my mother as two gods other than Allah?” », will answer: Glory to You! How could I say what I have no right to? If I had said that, You certainly would know, because You know what is in me and I do not know what is in You. " (5, 116)
– “The Nazarenes say: "The Messiah is the son of Allah". This is what comes out of their mouths. They repeat the words of those who were already disbelievers before them. Li annienti Allah. How misled they are!”; “It is not fitting for Allah to have a child. Glory to Him!” (9,35).
I Understand!
Basically like me, preaching in a church in Naples, I cited the historical leader of the Camorra Raffaele Cutolo in support of my outlandish theories.
… or as if I, in “hot zone” of Campania where I am, on All Saints' Day I brought the little angels of the Nigerian mafia as an inspirational model.
A hug dear Don Ciro
don Ettore
If he “Don” it refers to a priestly ordination then you chew very little on theology. And it ignores that there is a theological research, since it equates theologians, often people consecrated to God, to Camorra delinquents.
I certainly know Vito Mancuso …never been a theologian …certainly heretic …and in strong Masonic smell….
But she has read her books ?
… and you know that he was ordained a priest, just 23 year old, by Cardinal Carlo Maria Martini, than to order it at that age, he asked for a dispensation from the Holy See?
Indeed, to receive sacred ordination, are required 25 years old, the bishop has the faculty to dispense one year but below 24 years the dispensation of the Holy See is needed.
And he knows that shortly after a year, he asked for dispensation from celibacy and dismissal from the clerical state?
A quel point, Cardinal Martini, he sent him to deepen the theological sciences with Bruno Forte.
Of course, that I have read his books, I'm not Cardinal Martini, that after the good results of this child prodigy, he pretended to believe that he did not know him.
I know both the killers and the principals of the killers who then claim to say: “my hands are clean”.
I Got 54 year old, I was born in Egypt from a Muslim family that is not fundamentalist but of “moderate Islamic observance”.
I went to international school in Cairo (high school) then I arrived in Italy a 19 years for medical studies.
I am a specialist doctor and executive (deputy primary to be understood).
A 21 year old, fascinated by Christianity, I began my journey of conversion and a 24 year old, Easter night, I was baptized by the bishop in the cathedral.
They've been married 27 years with my wife, we had four children, all practicing Catholics.
Two years ago I had the great pleasure that the highly esteemed Father Ariel (that I know from 10 year old) celebrated the Holy Mass during which we renewed our marriage vows. For the occasion, my wife and my children went to Rome on purpose and after the Mass celebrated by Father Ariel we visited the tomb of St. Peter.
After my conversion and baptism my parents didn't want to see me again, the last interview I had with my mother dates back to when I had 25 year old, I wanted to take my then girlfriend to Egypt, who would soon become my wife. My mother said … “don't you dare take a Christian bitch home”.
Even when my parents died I couldn't go to their funeral, because my brothers and sisters sent me to say that they did not want to see me. I have never met my grandchildren and the wives and husbands of my brothers and sisters.
I have been told by mutual friends that some of my grandchildren do, even if born in a family of “moderate practitioners”, today they are part of fundamentalist groups.
Simply, Dear Sir, I wanted to tell you that if today heads have been cut off in Europe too, the fault lies with people who, like her, talk about what they don't know.
In short, she is an ignorant, as Father Ariel would say … “in the etymological sense of the term”.
Therefore, have the intelligence not to reply by explaining to me what the Islamic world is.
Letter Signed
Thank you for your precious testimony.
Thank you very much for what you wrote. His testimony is precious. If only our politicians and our ecclesial hierarchy stunned by morphine could read and meditate “inclusivist”.
I will not fail to buy Father Ariel's book. I would like to add that there is a site to consult that is really well done, who expertly exposes the falsehoods of Islam: http://www.islamicamentando.org
It would be abhorrent to claim that all Muslims are active terrorists, but that they are potentially such is not at all impossible. And then slowly with the term terrorism. If Macron's tale were true and everyone lined up, that secular freedom was attacked, how is it that all the victims are practicing Christians ? The three dead from Nice certainly weren't even readers of the secular banner Charlie Hebdo, instead they were inside a cathedral church.
good evening
I can't help but think of Oriana Fallaci (modern Cassandra) who denounced the non-existence of a “Moderate Islam ” and fought to the last in defense of our Christian roots against the “barbarity” of Islamic culture.
Can you tell me a nation where Islam predominates where the Christians who live there have the same rights as the rest of the population?
My book was dedicated to the memory of Oriana Fallaci.
