VERGOGNE DEL SACERDOZIO CRESCONO E SI MOLTIPLICANO
Le spiegazioni a questa vignetta che con due pennellate irride Gesù Cristo e gli Apostoli, the Veronese presbyter Giovanni Berti should not provide them, ma chi ha l’obbligo di vigilare sulla corretta ortodossia dei preti.

Dinanzi a questa irridente vignetta, vorremo che quanti sono preposti a vigilare sulla retta dottrina dei preti — e pare che questi preposti si chiamino vescovi, termine derivante dal greco bishop, che significa vigilante / colui che sorveglia — ci illuminassero su come dobbiamo interpretare certi passi del Beato Apostolo Paolo. Nell’eventualità, è opportuno cancellarli dalle Sacre Scritture? O potrebbe essere sufficiente evitare di dire «Parola di Dio» al termine della proclamazione di certi passi, spiegando ai Believers in Christ che l’Apostolo era in grave errore? Scrive infatti Paolo:
«Perciò Dio li ha abbandonati a passioni infami: infatti le loro donne hanno cambiato l’uso naturale in quello che è contro natura; similmente anche gli uomini, lasciando il rapporto naturale con la donna, si sono infiammati nella loro libidine gli uni per gli altri commettendo uomini con uomini atti infami, ricevendo in loro stessi la meritata ricompensa del proprio traviamento» (RM 1, 24-27).
It's still:
«O non sapete che gli ingiusti non erediteranno il regno di Dio? Non illudetevi: neither fornicators, born idolatry, nor adulterers, ne prostitutes, born sodomiti, nor thieves, nor covetous, nor drunkards, not cursed, né rapaci erediteranno il regno di Dio» (The Cor 6, 9-10).
Sarà inoltre opportuno, sempre alla luce della illuminante vignetta di Giovanni Berti in arte Gioba, cancellare anche questo passo dal Catechismo della Chiesa Cattolica:
«Homosexuality refers to relationships between men or women who experience sexual attraction, exclusive or predominant, towards people of the same sex. It manifests itself in very varied forms over the centuries and in different cultures. Its psychic genesis remains largely unexplained. Relying on the Holy Scripture, which presents homosexual relationships as serious depravities (cf.. GN 19,1-29; RM 1,24-27; 1 Color 6,9-10; 1 TM 1,10), la Tradizione ha sempre dichiarato che “gli atti di omosessualità sono intrinsecamente disordinati” (Sacra Congregazione per la Dottrina della Fede, You. Human person, 8: AAS 68 (1976) 85). They are against natural law. They preclude the gift of life from the sexual act. They are not the fruit of true emotional and sexual complementarity. In nessun caso possono essere approvati […] A significant number of men and women who have deep-seated homosexual tendencies. This inclination, objectively disordered, constitutes a test for most of them. Therefore they must be welcomed with respect, compassion, delicacy. In their regard, any sign of unfair discrimination will be avoided. Such people are called to carry out God's will in their life, e, if they are Christian, to unite the difficulties they may encounter as a result of their condition to the sacrifice of the Lord's cross " (NN. 2357-2358)
Siamo sicuri that Jesus Christ, a quelli che praticavano «l’altra sponda» abbia detto «… ma va bene così, eh, eh …» e che un presbitero possa diffondere questo messaggio irridente nella totale indifferente di chi dovrebbe vigilare sull’ortodossia dottrinale e morale dei preti?

… and let's not forget the verse 32 of Romans 1 in cui si legge:
“And despite knowing the judgment of God, that they which commit such things are worthy of death, not only do them, but also they approve of those who practice them.”
Avevo già visto la vignetta, ma non sapevo che l’autore fosse un chierico… forse vuol cercare il plauso del mondo come sembra talvolta fare il chierico che gli imperscrutabili disegni dello Spirito Santo ha messo a capo della nostra Chiesa Militante.
Eh certo che dopo “fiducia supplicans” viene male dire che la vignetta non va bene…
