If possible, I have a request…
If they were asked what the Bible buy, what would you recommend?
Thank you!
Dear Paul.
I personally always consult the Hebrew text of the Old Testament and the New Testament greek, when I have to do extensive research, because sometimes, in certain passages, translations, as faithfully, They use different expressions, as they are not easily translatable from the original editing languages.
On the other hand, I usually use The Bible with a translation by the C.E.I..
If it is more convenient for you, you can also find it on-line: http://www.laparola.it/bibbia/
Thank you for your response!
I have three at home “physical”, the 2008, St. Paul (Brand new version) and Ricciotti.
In January, I wanted to reread Sacred Scripture from the beginning and I bought the CEI 1974 for Kindle which seemed to me a good compromise between all versions…
However, it's all the fault of sites like utopia.it that make me doubt the translations! 🙂
I also wanted to read the Martini directly but it is in a decidedly obsolete Italian…
Thanks again and happy Sunday!
