Ormai sono anziano e alla mia mente tornano ricordi lontani, a partire da quelli dell’adolescenza.
Vi presento alcuni dei numerosi sciupafemmine, scelti a caso, idolatrati dalle nostre compagne, all’epoca che avevamo tra i 16 e i 20 year old, uomini dei sogni e loro modelli maschili ed erotici indiscussi. E quando qualcuno di noi, forse un po’ più intuitivo e introspettivo, diceva di sentir odore di un certo ortaggio — oggi innominabile, salvo essere accusati di cosiddetta omofobia — le folli innamorate insorgevano e, bene che andasse, ci davano degli invidiosi, perché con alcune si rischiava veramente il linciaggio, specie se erano in gruppo.
Recently, a una mia amica di giovinezza, ripercorrendo assieme certi ricordi domandai: «Se tu avessi sposato uno di questi sciupafemmine nonché modelli maschili ed erotici indiscussi, avresti avuto una vita sentimentale soddisfacente, una vita sessuale appagante, dei figli …?».
Mi ha sorriso e risposto: «L’indimenticabile Mia Martini, nella sua canzone Gli uomini cantava: “Women's patience begins at that age”. With hindsight today I have to tell you that I feel like paraphrasing: “L’irrazionalità di noi donne incomincia a quell’età”».
